Yeah, it's because he's black; nothing to do with his policies or anything. And since he doesn't specifically mention anything he thinks Obama is doing well to help the country, I guess I'll play his game and say he only wants Obama to win because he's black.

While I do not agree with Mr. Freeman there is some truth to what he says. The American president is typically given a certain level of respect, especially when he is discussed in the media.

The level of disrespect that has been voiced in public in relation to Obama is more than any other president that I can remember.

It sucks that the far left and far right hijack political debate in this country and turn it into a sensationalist sh**storm.

You can't be serious. Bush was excoriated daily. The talk show comedians killed him even more. They don't dare touch Obama. The pass he got in the election process was embarrassing.

Obama doesn't deserve sh!t from me. He gets up on the tube and all he does is preach and talk down to the citizens.

it's funny to me that both sides really want to win that "most disrespected" superlative. I'd rather win the most likely to succeed

It's probably your blind willingness to use generalizations to dismiss a group's message because it's easier for you than thinking through it. Could also be the blind hypocrisy borne of simplistic idealism. Both are significant problems and both would indicate that you have no capacity to process information.

I actually don't care. It's part and parcel to the office now and probably the biggest limiter to actual qualified people winning or even running.
