Most Overrated Draft Prospects: Justin Hunter

I'm interested in seeing how he reacts to more physical defensive backs. He didn't necessarily shine when he played against most of the big dogs in the SEC

I do not think he is overrated, He was not coached to bring out his true potential. He had a below average coach with below average support and then had below average results.

I really disagree with this. Hunter simply played good enough to allow himself to be highly drafted in the NFL this year, but didn't put his career in jeopardy by allowing himself to take big hits. The only knock I have on Hunter is he pulls a TO sometimes, and drops passes. Still, Hunter is a great WR, and with the NFL training facilities and staff he'll only get that knee stronger. He'll be able to spend all his time on football and rehab, and at the same time be able to support his family. He's a VOL, I love em, and I wish him the best of the best.

ok volnation hate me but i think cp. do we think he is going to be able to reverse the field like he did in college( hint- those n f l guys are good)

CP is special. He'll play ST, and be a very good/great 2nd WR on a team.

So when are you gonna grow your set back? Since you love taking cheap shots at people from behind your computer?

It's a football message board. Are we not supposed to talk about football players with a bit of opinion?

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. -- John Adams

It's fact that Hunter may have a tough time adjusting in the NFL. If he can't beat a jam off the line or plays hesitant or scared then he is no good to the quarterback and thus no good to the team. NFL teams find diamond in the rough guys that will go balls to the wall all the time.

Here's to JH working his arse off and showing out though. Got nothin but love for ya bro!:clapping::clapping::clapping:

He'll be fine. This might not sit well with alot of people, but I understand if a player coming off an injury on the college level plays a little tentative in order to not re-injure himself and thus affect his draft status and forthcoming NFL contract. It's uncomfortable to face that truth, but I can't say with 100% confidence that I would be any different.

Playing tentatively during his junior season did not harm Jamaal Lewis' draft status. He was coming back from an injury also from his sophomore season.

He isn't tentative because of draft status. He plays scared now. And it only is going to be more pronounced when everybody he 's up against is bigger faster stronger.

Most Overrated Sportswriter: KC Joyner.

Pompous idiot with bloated sense of self-importance. Lazily plucks numbers off a stat sheet while claiming to use "proprietary metrics" in his analyses. Fits right in at Tennessee-hating ESPN, but overall a bust. Grade: F.

I've read that post three times now and still can't figure out if he's just fishin' for bites. Either way, if I had mod privileges I'd put a nice 12 hour probation on his account for being such a knucklehead.

CP doesn't have to be smart to play football. See Chris Johnson.. I mean he created his on word. "Unpossible"
