WOW! How can we call ourselves Loyal VOL 4 Life fans and we allow others on the site to bash our players. WOW! And.. we wonder why they leave early. Let's face it we had the talent. The best WR tandem in a long time here. One of the better QB we had with that arm strength in a very long time, and one of the soon to be Best O-Line in the Country. Our problem was we had coaches that did not know how and what buttons to push to get the results. However, We are still TENNESSEE. Stop bashing our players behind your blogs and pretending to be a VOL 4 LIFE. It make me SICK!

I would take a chance with CP over JH - he has more heart. But I could see Hunter being a very good WR when he starts getting paid.

If he could just catch the ones that hit him in the hands and between the numbers the easy ones, he would always catch the hard ones.:ermm:

I would also add that I don't remember ever hearing anything bad about him as a teammate. He never seemed to give up to me or act defeated like some on our team. I don't know about his intelligence, but it appears he is at least emotionally intelligent. Just my observations.

Shame on any of you for taking shots at any of these guys who played for our VOLS. These guys have been through hell over the last 4 - 5 years.

How about the one that Worley bounced off Hunter's face mask in the Vandy game? He didn't come close to catching it.

How many times do you have to post this to make a point? I never understand why we cannot be critical of our team. I am a Vol fan no matter what the record they have any given season. I can say Hunter has some question marks for me and that does not mean I don't support the Vols no matter what. I wanted Dooley fired for a while, does that make me no longer a VFL now? This argument you make does not make sense to me. I do not think Bray or Hunter will do great, hey I could be wrong. I think CP will do very well. That is my opinion. NO matter what I am Vol fan, not a Bray fan.

Just like Swain said, even though his route running needs to be worked on, he's still going to get paid the big bucks because he's a freak of nature and will be an impact player, even if that means returning kickoffs. The guy is not your usual college athlete. He has break away speed, great hands, and can make cuts that will break the ankles of the older guys in the league.

+1 It's funny how so many translate "a bad UT team with the worst Defense in over 100 years" into "Bray sucks and Hunter sucks". It's freaking bewildering.

Did people not see that our offense was feared by EVERY team we played put up huge numbers on many really good Ds. One of the best Offenses since I've watched the Vols in 35 years. Maybe the best. Just imagine the 12' offense with the same defense we had in these years 96, 97, or 01.
Some need to realize that FB is not like BB. The same people rarely play on both sides of the ball.

I think he was dumb for leaving early, but the passing game could. suck this year so may not make a difference

You mean former Vol player. But I don't casually 'bash' players. However, I am critical when it is deserved, and watching Hunter stop on routes this season and hit the ground short of a first down rather than stretch for the extra yard or 2 to pick up the first down rather than take on a DB was more than just a little annoying. And I don't need anyone on VN telling me what I need to do or say to be a VFL. I don't criticize any player for their lack of talent if they are giving their all on the field, but when I see a player with unlimited talent not giving their all on the field, then they are open for criticism.
