Most physically painful thing you have ever experienced?

Worst pain was growing up with staph infection, constant boils on fingers/toes/face. At the doctor every month getting them lanced. Thankfully new drug introduced when I was 12 and free of that pain ever since.

Second is sciatica.

Third is listening to Sarah Palin.

I suffer from sciatica(along with bad knees and a clubfoot) and it's a painful pain in the arse.

What caused a staph infection that lasted that long ?

No idea, that was a long time ago(late 50s and early 60s). Took awhile for doctors to start the meds, maybe because of my age. Went to doc once a week for injections for 12 weeks best I remember. Novacine injections in the fingers and thumbs and getting boils lanced ain't no fun.

Got married....twice....

Seriously, with broken bones and all sorts of other childhood mishaps, id have to say kidney stones without a doubt is the most painful experience a body can endure. And that is not counting the passing. Just the having.

That sounds painful. Especially for a child.

The pain varies but mine felt like I was kind kicked in the nuggets but it never went away.

Ruptured bursa sack in my elbow.......worst thing ever...... I graved it with a straw and it was excruciating......

U just go to sleep for a few seconds. No pain really.. Unless ur talking about emotional pain.

Sleeping pills are painless but a sleeper hold before a blackout is anything but painless. :)
I didn't have emotional pain.if a person can end pain then it's wise to tap out which is what I did.

I've been put to sleep a few times and don't remember pain really... Maybe fear of being unconscious, but not a lot of pain.

Lesson of the day- dip your chin.

That and don't move around so much.
I learned a move in judo class that when standing a way to escape the sleeper hold.

Obvious Physical pain from 2011

When in soccer class I was the goalie for one class. While I did stop the balls one did screw up my arm after sitpounf one that I felt the obvious pain of something breaking or being dislocated as like a cut from shaving you can feel it when it happens.
For the rest of that day and for several days I had some obvious injury with my arm that was noticeable painful with most arm movements. I imagine that stopping a ball in the wrong way resulted in some part of my arm getting broken or dislocated.

I have ankylosing spondylitis as well. It sucks.

I've had multiple injuries(arm blasted with high pressure which tore a huge hole, almost bled to death) broken shoulder, leg, punctures, etc. but NOTHING ever hurt as much as my first attack of kidney stones. Got them after being bedridden for a month because of the arm injury and doped up on painkillers/meds.

If someone had given me a gun I would have gladly shot myself because of those stones.

Thank God I've never had them again as bad as that 1st time.

Not the most painful, but surprisingly awful pain came from a broke pinky finger on my throwing hand playing football in hs. The worst part was taking snaps under center. Took them left handed for two games.

I had a prostate infection at the age of 23 and it felt like I had a knife up my rear end. There was no comfortable position.

My dad had his 3 fingers and half of his pinkie on his left hand smashed off in a press 36 years ago (2 weeks before I was born). Because he was left handed they tried to reattach them, he said them getting cut off wasn't as painful as when they got infected and had to have surgery to remove them. He said the pain medicine didn't help at all for that.

I have always felt bad because when I was 8, my dad tried to show me how to throw a football or baseball and I laughed at him when he threw the ball so weird. He was throwing right handed. Still makes me feel bad.

Deep vein thrombosis in my leg just below my knee. Most pain I have ever experienced. It hurt to sit, stand, or walk.
