Most physically painful thing you have ever experienced?

I had my finger bend all the way back playing pick up basketball with some folks many years ago. I wound up with bone chips and it hurt like a b**ch. I thought just jammed my finger and didn't go to the emergency room until it swelled really bad and turned black and blue and I couldn't move it much.

Dislocating my hip. Stuck my foot in the ground (had on cleats) turned one way and my foot was facing the other.

I woke up with pain in my shoulder so bad that I was nearly delirious. I had just started dating my current g/f and she thought I was having a heart attack. I was 24 at the time I believe.

It was the most intense dull ache I have ever felt in my life. It finally subsided enough for me to go back to sleep and I've never had anything like it since. Still no idea what it was.

I wished.. only thing the doc said was.. whoops, guess your not numb the whole way.. I said, no shyt, you guess?

I feel that. When I was getting my spinal tap when the doctor hit a nerve it felt like I was getting stabbed wherever that nerve went and that extremity would stiffen up and spasm. Every time she would ask me where it hurt at and I told her to take a guess after the 3rd time came the profanity filled rant that ended with her leaving the room crying and another doctor coming in.

Has anyone else had diverticulitis? That some serious pain as well

broke my ankle in 3 places and turned my foot completely around backwards. talk about a shock seeing some s*** like that. the emts twisting it back into place was no joke either. fun times.

I woke up in surgery after I broke my jaw.. I don't remember a lot of pain, but it was scary.

1. Bone marrow extraction out of both pelvic bones.
2. removed 3 drain tubes from my side. Damn nurse says she's counting to 3 and pulled on 2 instead....b!tch.

Kidney stones. Kidney swelled up to football size due to blockage. Almost had to cut me open. Constant puking and felt like a grown man was kicking me repeatedly in the side. To big to pass, had to go in and break it up.

Eye. Tore the layers of my cornea coming down a tree in a climbing stand. The eye doctor wouldn't give me numbing drops because he said it would keep it from healing properly. Thank God the human eye heals quickly.

Teeth. An abscessed tooth is right up there.

Ouch.. I'm a baby when it comes to my eyes.

Fire.

Caught my left leg on fire. 2nd and 3rd degree burns.

Then 3 days later finally going to the ER. I was tied down to a steel table and the area was scrubbed with steel wool. They heard me screaming the entire floor.

You get the trophy so far my friend. Good lord that sounds painful.

Last I checked waking up during a surgery is a lawsuit.

It's a medical trick. Very common.

Almost ruptured appendix
Oh and labor

Man - some of y'all - man

You're a female? SmokinBob?

I think some pain you get used to feeling. I have cirrhosis so I've just gotten accustomed to abdominal pain unless it flares up really bad. I hate when you go to the doctor and they ask you to rate your pain on a scale of 1-10. I never know what to say. It's like, it hurts, but I can deal with it.

Most memorable pain I remember though was a sucker punch to the groin. Straight up uppercut, dead on shot. I was on the ground for at least 30 minutes. Hurt like a motherfawker. By the time I could move again, the other guy was gone, not that I was in any condition to fight. I had to go to the bathroom to check on the boys. Thankfully they were just fine.

First time I broke a bone was a beech too. After the first one, the rest never seem to hurt quite as bad.

Already had back surgery once. right now i have another herniated disk and bone fragments putting pressure on the sciatic nerve that runs down my left leg. Again. Its like having an abscessed tooth except my entire left leg. Cant walk more than a few feet at a time and pain meds wont even touch it.
I have broken both legs and an arm twice and had a couple hundred stitches in 37 years of life. Not even close to this.

Take care of your backs guys. It can ruin your life.

I had a bottle of sweet oil, next to a bottle of turpentine, the labels were flipped.
I had a earache, went to put sweet oil in my ear instead it was turpentine, most crippling pain ever
