Most underrated Vol of the modern era?

I still remember when he excellerated by Benny Blades(Miami WR) to intercept a pass from ol' Vinny, in the Sugar Bowl.

One of my great memories from sitting in a great seat in the dome that night and watching him and the Vols totally dismantle a Miami team that thought they would be national champs with a huge win over us....I have all the New Orleans newspaper stories and other memorabilia from that great night....A highlight in Vol history..

Erik Ainge. He had a good freshman year, a disastrous sophomore year, and excellent junior and senior years. I do not think many people ever forgave him for his sophomore year but he was a stud his last two years. If he had a typical game in the SEC Championship game, the Vols may have had another SEC title. Yet, everyone was excited about Crompton taking over for him and we all know how that turned out.

Travis Stephens. Ran "like a man possessed" against Florida in the Swamp in 2001. To this day, still my favorite game of the past decade.

I've got 2 names.

1) Knoxville's own Dennis Rogan. Yes he should have stayed for his Sr. Yr. without a doubt. But his Jr. Season I remember him single handily shutting down AJ Green, Alshon Jeffry, and Julio Jones. And his epic punt return against Vandy as a freshman or sophomore (can't remember) was one of the biggest plays of that entire season IMO.

2) "Big" Dan Williams- yeah he was a first rounder, but I still felt he never got his due from the "pundits" and many UT fans. IMO he was just as good if not better than any SEC DT his last two season, including lard azz Cody. He was quite athletic sometimes making plays 10-20 yards downfield. And at times this guy just disrupted everything the offense tried to do, flat out dominant.
