Ant-man and Wasp

Eh. It was OK the first time I saw it. I laughed out loud a few times, but I could take or leave this one. I love Paul Rudd who at least made it watchable for me.

Besides being very high on CATFA (I like it, but it’s not close to my all time favorite MCU movie) and low on AOU (I realize its flaws but I’m still a sucker for all the avengers together), I really dig your list, think it’s really good without just going with the most popular opinion

I just like the Captain America movies. Not sure why they stick out to me. To me, the original is one of those flicks that's in TNT one random afternoon as ya flip through channels and ya have to stop and watch it.

Watched the new Pet Semetary tonight. Not terrible, but somewhat disappointing. Felt a little rushed and seemed to throw curveballs just for the sake of change. John Lithgow should have been featured more as he was the best actor in the film, but it felt they purposefully left out a lot of his dialogue and relationship with Louis compared to the book and original movie. The big twist in the movie from the original also seemed to fall flat as it seemed slightly less horrifying than it should’ve been.

Dragged Across Concrete 7/10 from my man S. Craig Zahler. A bit long in the tooth but he nails that slow simmer to sudden brutal violence. Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn play off each other well. Recommended if fast pace isnt a prerequisite.

It’s kind of a funny story...really enjoyed this film. I remember it when it first came out but rewatched it yesterday. Just a really well done film.

Doctor Strange

This is the hardest one for me to rate. Solid flick. Not great. I have to be in the mood for it. Definitely different than the rest of the group so it's a nice change of pace.

The Silence, Part 2 of Netflix's 5 senses of Doom. Ummm it's Birdbox, except no talking instead of no looking and generic versions of the creatures from Pitch Black instead of spirits or whatever.

Can't wait for part 3. When Aliens invade Earth they kill everything that stinks. Mila Jovovich stars in "The Stench" if you fart...you die.

Dr. Strange is one of my favorites in MCU. I would put it in the top five.

It's hard for me to rate. I like it. It's strong. But also slow at times and has a completely different feel to it and I lose interest. It's not a movie I want to watch repeatedly, but I do enjoy it.

So I just finished the rezort. Not too bad for a zombie flick. Some hard core zombie fans will hate it I’m sure because it’s fast dead and they say the word zombie in the movie. I liked it. Felt a lot like a video game story line. If you like the genre I would say give it a watch

Thor: Ragnarok

Incredible movie. Hilarious. Strong story going back to the sister and her background. Adding Hulk and Valkyrie was awesome. Loki was gold as usual. Dare I say this surpasses Captain America for me? I have to say it does.

Avengers: Infinity War

Epic flick. Don't care about how it fits with comics or any plot holes that "true fans" find. This movie is awesome to watch from beginning to end. Funny at times, but not overdone. Non stop action and the "Oh F" moment at the end gets ya in the feels. IMO...top notch effort. That said...you have to dig in to watch it. I think it's the best MCU movie to date hands down. But for my money and enjoyment...

Absolutely nothing to do with your post but have you seen the new Cinemax series that Banshee creators made with stories from Bruce lee call Warrior? I will watch!
