Movies you've seen recently II

Well, Oscar nominations are only little over a month away. You never know.
He is one of my favorite actors.
It wasn't what I expected and I just wasn't in the mood. I'm gonna try it again now that I have a better idea. I really like him too. My favorite he was in was Troy.

Yeah, us too. Wife wanted to watch something else before me, but I thought what I saw was crummy.

Thor Love & Thunder was better than the buzz. Pretty corny but entertaining throughout. They went in hard on GnR and despite going with the most obvious selections, it was near perfect. Could have used some My Michelle or Dead Horse or something like that at some point.

Watched "The Bombardment" on Netflix last night and that was an incredibly sad movie. Heartbreaking. Was a pretty good movie otherwise though.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, as well. Fans of Tarantino or the "Oceans" franchise will likely have fun with their popcorn.

I really laughed at the part where Pitt's character "steals" the antidote and as the assassin is dying he says "You didn't bring a back up? That seems like poor planning" or something like that and then "you want some water?"

And the scene where the refreshment attendent interrupts his fight and he makes the other guy pay for his water.

We didn't last 10 minutes. 3/10. I doubt Pitt has ever been in a worse movie.
Netflix now gets a star and makes a POS movie.

Bullet Train

WE watched the entire movie. It was kinda like a Tarentino wannabe movie with a some slapstick thrown in. Nonetherless it was enjoyable.
As always Brad Pitt was at least very good.
Wife liked more than me.
I'd give it a 6.5-7.5.
Worth watching.
I used subtitles since a couple of guys have accents.

Banshees of Inisheeran is so good. Subtle humor but the wife and I belly laughed a bunch of times. Streaming on HBO

Burnt, 2015, Bradley Cooper, Netflix
We got through about 75 minutes of this one . Missed about 25 minutes. If you work in a restaurant you might enjoy it. It's just ridiculous unless you think Cooper yelling constantly is entertaining. What a waste of his talent.
There is a story which gets lost in the constant yelling.
