Movies you've seen recently II

Burnt, 2015, Bradley Cooper, Netflix
We got through about 75 minutes of this one . Missed about 25 minutes. If you work in a restaurant you might enjoy it. It's just ridiculous unless you think Cooper yelling constantly is entertaining. What a waste of his talent.
There is a story which gets lost in the constant yelling.
The story is all too familiar and slaps you in the face if that has been your life. The restaurant business is ridiculous so most serious movies about that life are ridiculous.

That said, it was just okay but I enjoyed it.

Wife and I both worked in the industry when young. Yeah, there is a different story every day.
Worked at a country club restaurant in college. Had an obviously pregnant fellow student who was a waitress. She told a customer that we didn't have something, and the customer said "Do you know who I am? I am Mrs Dr. Johnathan Jones, and I can have anything I want". Maybe if she had told her we were out of what she wanted?

Wife worked at a restaurant in Gatlinburg. Someone dropped a dish rag in the large container of tea. She was going to pour it out and make more when the manager stopped her. He said, "we don't waste anything". He then rang out the rag in the tea, and handed the rag back to her. Tea was served.

Hadnt heard of it til now. I'm gonna try it. I like Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell both.

It flew under the radar but crushed the inde film festivals. I had been hearing about it on some podcasts I listen to but there was no way to watch until now

Bullet train., meh. At least it had Michael Shannon, Pitt was a mess. Worst acting from him since that friends episode.

Watched "Blacklight" with Liam Neeson. Pretty good movie. Neeson is showing his age a little in it. But a solid 7/10.
I guess if you have a movie formula that works you stick with it. I just feel like I'm watching a movie similar to the last one when I watch one of his movies. I enjoy them though.

Glass Onion (Knives Out sequel on Netflix) is pretty entertaining. It started out kinda stupid, but then it picked up. They overdid it again with a southern accent and it bothered me even more this time. Why? So stupid.
