Desperation Road. Story isn't anything special, but the acting was good. Best of all....it's just a story and movie. No political or social messaging. Certainly better than a lot of what comes out of hollywood and the streaming services these days. 7/10. Decent watch.

No One Will Save You

Hulu original starring the very talented Kaitlin Dever (Loretta from Justified). Minimal dialog alien invasion flick. Something different, pretty short, worth a watch for sure. Ending is kind of open for interpretation. Sound/Music is excellent.

Small Foot (kids movie). Watched with my 2 year old great granddaughter. It was funny and cute.

Sanctuary, 8,Hulu, I thought it was a little boring at the beginning, but it kept my interest to the very end. Two people, typical male/female relationship?

The plot and cast intrigue me. Definitely going to check this one out.

Is Jesse Plemons annoying as **** like he is in every other show/movie? He has had a punchable face since breaking bad.

Nothing against Plemons, but it's like the filmmakers find someone, and use them over and over and over. Maybe they sign a 1-2 year contract?
Plemons has a different look.

Something that has been bothering me...Scorsese meant for Leo to play Hale, and Leo said he wanted to play Burkhart. Leo looks like he's 50 and he's supposed to be a cook who just came home from the great war. It took me out of it. This guy is supposed to be 20 YO?

Same thing with The Irishman. Tried to use SFX to make De Niro look young and it was jarring. **** off with this stuff. Just hire actors that are the right age. Still a great movie but I don't think Leo needed to play EB to make it great.

Saw The Holdovers. It's a feel good movie and I can say the writing was good but somebody in the theater ruined the whole vibe. This lady laughed like Dr. Hibbert at everything, even serious moments. Pretty sure some of the acting was bad and some of it was campy, but I honestly can't tell you if it's just that lady fkn up my perception.

Also, we got a 33 yo playing a HS kid? Wtf

Rented Haunted Mansion the other night. Wanted to make it to the theater to see it and didn't.

I really, really liked it. There were so many funny moments. Cast did a fantastic job.
