Witdip doesn't even mention us in the mix and folks on here think we lead or it's neck and neck... LOL

As i said earlier, and yes I am being a negavol and wet blanket, but all this glitter and buzz on us with 5* Edge rushers and Franklin, then the shine wears off after the visit and other teams take the lead... Either folks on here that seem to be somewhat in the know have a grossly inflated perception of UT, or we simply are not showing them the NIL at the end of the day and other programs are ...

Ole Miss and Auburn trending over us??? WTF has either of them done or looking to do compared to the current state of our program? Miami? Their facilities and fanbase is dogshite compared to us, they haven't done crap on the field, so it's gotta be all about the NIL...

I must admit it's a bit disturbing that with all the positive momentum UT seems to have, we still may be crashing and burning against lesser schools, especially on the defensive side of the ball...

I truly hope I am wrong and get to eat crow.

listen, dude was here, and saw what we offer.

if he wants to go to Miami that painted a turd called Pro Player Stadium to a Hard Rock Stadium, thats miles from Campus, or that dump in Oxford or in Alabama...

in lieu of what we've got going on...

honestly dont want him. I question his judgement.

Ap literally said it’s neck and neck. I would trust him over wiltfong in this specific situation

I just jumped on several kids threads and Witdip basically says he doesn't see us getting anyone LOL... Guess we'll see when the dust settles... I really hope he's wrong--- there seems to be just too much positive momentum for our program right now to be losing out to Mizz, Miami, Ole Miss, and Auburn... GA AL and OK at this point, even TX I could understand...

they should have a July signing period instead of December. July 1-3 signing period, holiday, then dead period the rest of the month. then a second period thru the fall, with the normal Feb Signing period.

either that, or just go back to the 1 signing period in Feb. way too much big time recruiting going on so much earlier in the cycle now...it either needs to have 2 periods on the calendar that reflect the 2 biggest periods of activity (Spring recruiting/Summer signing; fall recruiting/Winter signing), or slow it all the way down like it used to be.

i'm sure there's some legit reason that i've either forgotten or not thought about that makes that makes this not possible, but with everything else moving up in the calendar it really doesn't make sense to me to have 2 signing periods for the same class 2 months apart.

Too much time to change their mind and many things change from Summer to the offseason. Coaching changes, wins and losses etc. Add the new non-binding NIL resolution and it's just empty paper.
