One of the top offenses in the country, ranked number 1 at one point, put up 50+ points against Alabama….and yet, if only this coaching staff listened to you, we would have won a Natty.I think we need to run more intermediate crossing routes too. Squirrel and Seldon both have the abilities to turn a mesh route into a TD. Thornton and Squirrel also have the straightline speed to run shallow stings. Joe also seems to be more comfortable with those throws compared to vertical routes. It also doesn’t require the OL to pass protect quite as long. Hopefully we don’t see much of a drop off in OL play, but it’s likely inevitable considering we lost the best OT in the SEC last year and perhaps the entire country
