This classically defines the line between those that place integrity way up the REQUIRED list for a coach vs those that don’t. Part of what makes the sports world go around. We are on different planes on this one. Loved the results but could not support bringing their BB Coach BACK either. Hate it cause both of my daughters are AU grads.

Our cost of doing business with integrity optional guys in both FB and the double dip in BB has hardened, no strengthened my placement on the list. I rest easy on the BB side and hope CJH makes me proud on th FB side. I will not justify sleaze for a single win. So far DW seems to have a litmus test on the issue as well.

No he did not. That is a stupid interpretation.

Nolan lied and made a statement with the deliberate intention of insulting UT and making us look bad to the best of his meager ability. It was a tacky, dishonest, and needless thing to do.

I hate dude getting rehashed. But don't try to deceive about what he said or meant.

So you wouldn’t have celebrated if Pruitt had won a NC? Because Pruitt is as sleazy as Freeze. The combination of Fulmer/ Pruitt may be one of the grimiest combinations in college sports history.

Until somebody can define what he was REALLY offered by both schools this is a wasted argument. MY interpretation of his also unsupported comments was he was tired of the follow the money narrative associated with him AND OTHERS going there and threw that out there.

No, he lied. He trolled us. He threw a lie out there. Are you his mom? Not worried about it. It's no big deal. I'm not mad at Nolan. He may wish he had not done it, for all I know. He may have disliked people talking about TAMU buying a class; not our problem. I just don't like to see the truth undermined on our own board.

Right there with you, based of success alone. Looking back at it I'm glad we didn't, the NCAA may not have been so lenient. At first, like most Vol fans I wasn't sure about Heupel. But he's completely changed my mind on that and glad we have him.
