He looks athletic enough to make the move to LB. I'm not saying he can't play LEO in this defense, I just know these coaches value length at the position.
Didn't realize he was a 5 star wow. Interesting measurables for an edge so I'll have to watch him soon
Sometimes wingspan can be just as if not more important than height. Plus he could still grow an inch or two. Byron Young was only 6’3 and I think Corey Vereen was only 6’2 also. Of course we were running a different gap scheme with him and BarnettHe looks athletic enough to make the move to LB. I agree with the wingspan comment, but Joshua Josephs is the shortest edge they've heavily recruited at 6'3", but he has freakish length for that height. This kid appears to be built slightly more compact, and the coaches definitely appear to have a particular body type they prefer at the edge position. They are in on several guys that fit the mold of what they've recruited the last 2 cycles.Sometimes wingspan can be just as if not more important than height. Plus he could still grow an inch or two. Are you suggesting that Josephs isnt working out because of his body length?I agree with the wingspan comment, but Joshua Josephs is the shortest edge they've heavily recruited at 6'3", but he has freakish length for that height. what's their bend and arm length compared to each other like?? JJ has super long arms
Would love to see him visit again. He has already announced that he's planning to take official visits to Auburn, Penn State, Florida and Georgia next month, starting with a trip to Auburn the weekend of June 2. Steve Wiltfong, 247Sports' director of recruiting, reported Saturday that Texas A&M "rounds out the current top five" for Waller, who has also indicated that he intends to participate in a camp at Alabama next month.
Wiltfong wrote that Penn State is"the leader heading into the summer" in Waller's recruitment. The Nittany Lions are set to host him on official visit the weekend of June 9.
