We'll see. I kinda like the fact that everyone is underrating us, gives these guys a little more fire in their bellies to prove everyone wrong.
Meh… Lagway is overrated like rashaad was last year and waller is an undersized end. The backers you’ll have are good pickups though.

I said this during the Dooley years.
Dooley was an unmitigated failure when he was hired, Billy wasn't. Year two is when we generally find out what a coach has, and although Billy hasn't been able to completely turn over the roster from the horrific state Mullen left it in, I do have faith in the man.

Sunbelt Billie gonna coach them up to play foosball
I mean, American Athletic Conference Josh showed in year two what he could do after a lackluster year one, I'm sure a guy that built his program from the ground up into a conference champion could do the same, no?

Napier is an a**hole that’s using every bit of NIL pull he can get to save his job. Personally don’t see his schtick paying off at UF like he thought it would. The whole smartest guy in the room act is super draining.

There's no way you genuinely believe that Florida in Napier's 2nd season is set up to have anything remotely close to the year Tennessee just had in Heupel's 2nd season.

They are building up their defense really nicely in this recruiting class and defense wins championships as we all know. Napier is killing it right now recruiting wise and we have lost some major momentum and recruits in the last couple of weeks. When was the last time we signed a 5 star? That’s my big issue and concern with this coaching staff they can’t close the deal on the elite recruits like Georgia, Ohio St and Florida and Bama can.

And you don’t know they can’t either. This time last year nobody saw or thought Tennessee would start 8-0 and go 11-2 we all were hoping for 8-4 or 9-3 at best. Napier had to purge out and get rid of the bad seeds and losers from Dan Mullens tenure so yea Florida struggled last year. I expect them to be much improved this season to go 7-5 or 8-4 and it wouldn’t shock in the least if they beat us in the swamp.

He’s a good coach and a damn good recruiter most Tennessee fans including me wanted him in Knoxville. I bet he wins the SEC before Heupel and no I’m not a Florida fan. Defense wins championships my boy and Heup don’t believe in a good defense.

Lol. “Most”? Loose definition of “most” there bud. Hell no I didn’t want Napier at Tennessee. To be fair I was very skeptical of Heupel as well; so maybe I’m just as big of a numbskull as you.

Really? Well we actually have a football coach now. As a matter of fact, we may just have the second best head coach in program history right now.
Too early to say that. It’s gonna be hard though for Josh to ever win the SEC like Fulmer, Dickey and Majors and Neyland did. Those are the great and best UT coaches in our history and they never coached in a 16 team SEC with Oklahoma and Texas.

Y’all have a brutal schedule this year, Billy needs a 7-5 or 8-4 season and to show sapient progress on the field and def don’t lose to Vandy and Kentucky again. The QB position would concern though if I’m a Gator fan. Having a top 3 recruiting class in 2024 though almost ensures that Billy will keep his job thru the 2023 season no matter what happens.

Who is most fans? I certainly didn't want him. To be fair I wasn't really excited for Heupel. But to say florida will win the east before us is ludicrous. Especially considering this is the last year of divisions. Georgia will more than likely win the east. We don't have to like it but it's the truth.

You honestly are picking them to win the SEC before Tennessee?

We didn't just beat Florida, we beat Bama too last year, AND SEC West Champion LSU.
AND Clemson.

What did Florida do with the 4th overall pick at QB???

Oh but I guess you forgot that too, probably.
. That was last year let’s see how we do going forward. Can we sustain it? or were we just a flash in the pan and one hit wonders in 2022
