'25 MS QB Deuce Knight (Auburn commit)

They should go ahead and take this guy now. If his commitment scares G-Mac away I wouldn’t want him anyway. A QB that isn’t confident in his ability and doesn’t want to compete for the job is the kind that would mail it in after a Dallas Turner fumble recovery for a TD late in the fourth. In Heupel’s system give me the athletic guy that has good arm talent and is a gamer that makes things happen under pressure. Joe Burrow had average arm talent at best when he got to Ohio State, but he worked his ass off and is the 2nd best QB in the NFL right now
Joe Burrow had average arm talent at best? I think not. That’s not something that suddenly dramatically improves in your senior year in college.

I don't know if MacIntyre has that type of sway with in state recruits. Harrison Bailey didn't have any sway with his own dang teammates. I worry about missing out on both by waiting too long for a MacIntyre decision. Deuce's recruitment is heating up like a pizza oven.
Remind us of who Nico pulled to the VOLS?

If memory serves, #5 was about Stewart’s highest ranking and the service that had him that high had Manning at #3.
Only thing I can find.................

Which “service”? Emfinger? Lemming! Parade? There was no Rivals, ESPN or 247…even Scout.

No, he's right about that (finally).

Urban Meyer even talked about it during LSUs run that year.

I’m right about more than people are willing to admit. A lot of people just don’t like some of what I say because it’s critical towards the staff that has brought us back from the dead. People don’t realize you can appreciate what a staff does while also wanting them to improve on their shortcomings

Look at all those busts. Those rankings were pretty terrible.

It was SuperPrep. Found this article:

"The Volunteers, who signed two first-team USA Today All-Americas (wide receiver Marcus Nash and offensive lineman Jarvis Reado) and two of SuperPrep magazine's top five quarterbacks (Peyton Manning and Branndon Stewart), have the best recruiting class of '94."
