'25 MS QB Deuce Knight (Auburn commit)

Now that he’s and instate kid who would y’all rather have, Knight or MacIntyre?

For me that’s an extremely tough question. Some say that Knight is perfect for Heupels offense and I can completely see why that’s the thought. He is just as or maybe even more athletic than Hooker. He has good arm talent as well. But Heupel doesn’t need a DT QB for his offense to be lethal. Nico isn’t a DT and he may end up being the best QB we have ever had.

Now to GMac. The dude is a prototypical pro style QB. He has a Nico/Trevor Lawrence like frame. I think GMacs are talent is better than Knights. But it’s not by a wide margin. Mac is more polished imo. He isn’t a statue either. He can move just nowhere near like Knight. The thing for me is what if GMac is better at reading defenses? If he is then that means he knows where to throw the ball quicker and can diagnose what the defense can do. If that’s the case then I would rather have GMac.

However, if they both are good at reading defenses, then that makes the choice much harder. Because now you would have to factor in Knights elite athleticism. Like I have said this is a great problem and you can’t go wrong with either one. Both QBs are tailor made for Heupels offense. If you held a gun to my head and forced me to pick right now, I would say GMac by a slim margin. But honestly I think Knight has a really good shot at getting his fifth star this year. I am good with either one.

He's an all-state Track and Field athlete as a sophomore in Mississippi.

Not that much of a stretch to make that statement

He was all -state in long jump and high jump.. not trying to downplay Knight but Vick was all time elite as far as athlete at QB... he moved at a different speed. Had a hell of an arm also
