If you take DK right now you push GMac to Bama most likely. Staff feels like we lead right now apparently with him. I like both of them so I’m torn but why wouldn’t we trust Heupel to pick his guy?

Hard to say. Putting all your focus into one QB is a gamble. Now that’s what Heupel did with Nico and it worked. I think Heupel wants to see how their SR years go. But waiting always is a gamble as well.

How is it a screw up if we prioritized another kid from instate that we like more? Do you really think our entire staff of fairly successful coaches who do this for a living just universally don't know how recruiting works? What, instead, is your expert solution to this colossal failure?

There's a reason I wanted him when we fired Pruitt. He's a good recruiter and a decent coach.

There's also a reason I'm glad he's not here. He's volatile. All it takes is one response to a tweet to get you fired and piss everyone off.

High boom/bust potential. I'm glad we're over here to watch it all 🍿 if we get GMac, I don't care if Deuce goes there and maybe beats Saban a time or 2
