'25 MS QB Deuce Knight (Auburn commit)

we have screwed up here. Waited to long on him and now he is a heavy Auburn lean
Go be a B somewhere else. If we had Deuce committed and GMac was leaning Bama then you would be on here complaining as well. Right now we’ve evaluated GMac to be our guy and we’re going to stick with that. I really like both of them but I’m not second guessing Heupel.

Not concerned, AP has said multiple times GMac is our main qb target

Yep.

Not saying Duece isn’t good but G-Mac seems to have all the traits you want in a QB.

He’s accurate, has enough mobility to escape pressure, and has a strong arm.

If that’s Heupel’s #1 target, then there’s a good reason for that.

Agreed, I think we get 1 of GMAC or Deuce (Likely whichever one is ready to pull the trigger first), and hopefully Madden.
Deuce may pull the trigger first and not for us because the coaches aren't ready to take his commitment. I wouldn't be discouraged by that though. It only means things are going in a very positive direction with Gmac if that happens. I don't see them risking losing both of those guys. I've been a big proponent for a Deuce commitment, but have long said that you can't go wrong with either. Also said that there's a lot of pressure to land the in-state 5* QB.

What about the purported thumb injury (above)?
He came out for at least two plays (2 straight incompletions by the backup). A hand cramp could've definitely been the culprit. He got tackled rolling left and just got the ball off. Then ran off the field holding his hand, with his thumb at a weird position.

I had to hop on a plane after Lipscomb turned it over on downs. Glad he was able to get back in so hopefully its not too serious.
