Mustain Gone

Being the player of the year out of high school I expected a little more than what he showed. I really don't think we will pursue him though. But I really don't like the idea of him coming here. He seems like a bust.

I would not mind having him work with Cutliffe... I don't think having a high school coach as your OC in football is the best idea for a quarterback...

If he leaves, which I don't think he will, I would like to get him and he can redshirt, then in 2008 challenge Crompton for the top spot.

I don't see why he would come here though, because I think Cromton will be starting for a while, and Mustain may not get playing time for a while.

The kid played a lot of a season and has like 7 total pass attempts due to the UA philosophy. Let him throw a few for comfort and get some speed at WR and he will be one heckuva football player. Here at UA he had Monk (tall and really slow) and a Freshman that they threw to about once per month. I'd say less than ideal set of fact by which to judge his ability.

I think Nick Stephens will shock everyone........let Mitch and Mom go to Texas or wherever. Lets get some lineman

I don't think many teams will "recruit" him hard based on his mom being so vocal. That's a can of gasoline waiting on a match...

Most coaches have had a situation like his - it never ends good for anyone.

His parents acted like a bunch of kids cause their child was not playing. Hey guess what Mom this is college, last time I checked your son had enough guts to stand up for himself. This is not high school anymore.

This is not true. His mom was involved for other equally poor reasons, but I don't believe it was because Mitch couldn't handle it.
