He's not going to play for them again, he's got to keep up his grades, and find a school in the spring.

Problem is, there are a whole helluva lot of schools that have no self respect and will give a scholarship to anybody they think will help them win a game!!

I really don't see this as MM's fault. He was told that his HS coach would be calling the plays, and that he would be a starter. All involved from Springdale HS were lied to. His parents, Nutt and Broyles are far more responsible for this debacle than he is, IMHO. After all, he WAS 8-0 as a starter, and was benched? What upper tier team that needs a QB would not take that into consideration? Mustain's biggest flaw is the baggage he carries with him anywhere he goes, in his family. If he can get out from under them, and make decisions for himself, he should make an excellent college and possibly NFL qb.

He may pull a Colt Brennan and over come the issues but it is pretty hard for a 19yr old to mature quickly enough to deal with that kind of baggage. Some of it is his fault. If you are an adult (18+) you should tell your mommy to but out of your business and don't make rash decisions such as saying you are going to Tulsa and then backing off.
I would imagine that some at Arky have some harsh feelings for the kid and most of the problem was too many people telling him what to do instead of making his own decisions
