MVP and ROTY

Who is the NFL's Most Valuable Player?

Most people don't like Tamme cause he can't block, and he hasn't produced without Manning. This is why the Broncos can get away with only paying him $1M this year. To put that in perspective, Clark is making $2.7M for fewer catches. Clark had a great career, but it was slowing down 3 years ago.

I agree with all of that. But can we agree having to rely on 2 rookie TEs is generally tough?

I don't know. Just for the simple fact that they've only worked together 1 season gives Luck a bump for his productivity with them, but I don't think TE is a position that requires much adjustment from college to the NFL. Relatively speaking.

If it were just the TEs than I would agree. But throw in Hilton and Brazill and that's a total of 4 rookies add in a rookie RB.

Luck shouldn't be ROY IMO.

1. Russell Wilson by a smidge over RGIII. 51 to 50.

At the end of the day winning ROY the year doesn't mean anything. Didn't Young win it? My order would be Luck, Wilson, Griffin. If we are looking at numbers alone I can see how he might not win it even though he has thrown way more passes than either of the other 2. But I think it should be looked at what the player means to the team and look at all the entire picture.

RG3. Wilson. Morris. Luck

if AP dont win it after today its the biggest robbery ive ever seen

easily 1 of the greatest seasons ive ever seen and coming off the injury just makes it so much more impressive how he did it i dont know

MVP - Adrian Peterson
ORoY - Russell Wilson
DRoY - Luke Kuechly/Bobby Wagner
CPoY - Adrian Peterson
Coach of the Year - Carroll

Alfred Morris has a legit chance to finish second in the league in rushing to only AP himself, if you think that is because of RGIII you are crazy. He is a helluva back, and RGIII opens it up for him.. but let's be honest Royster wouldn't have came close to those numbers, neither would've Helu. A back like that will help any QB.

Bump.

Andrew Luck won 11 games with a team that won 2 last year. He also broke the Rookie passing record. He should definitely be ROY. Id vote AP for MVP because he carries his team. Peyton has been great but dont forget the Broncos won a play-off game without him last year. He should be comeback player of the year though because AP should not qualify because he never missed a game. Thats not a comeback, its just continuation of a fine career.

I'd give Adrian Peterson the MVP. The Vikings were garbage last year. The broncos won a playoff game last year with a different quarterback.

that same team that won 2 games last year was consistently winning 10+ games a year with Manning. Luck threw 90 bazillion passes, in which only 45 bazillion were caught and 20 bazillion of them were interceptions. Throwing lots of yards when all your team does is pass shouldn't be considered an accomplishment. His QBR is one of the worst in the league, going into today no one had thrown more INTs, and he barely completes 50% of his passes. His stats really aren't that good.

but. Alfred Morris just made the case for himself a lot stronger tonight. What a performance.

In any other year Morris would win it. Having three top rookie QBs, with one being on the same team, he will come up short.

Gotta give AD the regular season hardware, maybe Manning will bring home AFC championship MVP or Super Bowl MVP. They both shattered expectations

I agree and I kind of fear he will cost RGIII a few votes. And a few votes will likely be all the difference in the world.
