So that article makes a giant assumption right off the jump. How the hell do they know the hand loop is what was reported as a noose?

Whatever the truth is, this has turned out to be a nice moment for NASCAR. You're focusing on outrage. IDK what circles you're in, but I'm mostly seeing positives come out of this story. I have a black gearhead friend from Talladega who works at Honda and LOVES NASCAR. He didn't message me about the noose. He messaged me about all the drivers and everybody supporting BW.

Any perceived instance of racism in this country blows up like a bomb. It doesn't matter what the truth is. Every sports talk show was talking about it. It would be pretty stupid for a person to put a noose in his garage area any time but especially in this climate. Again, with the limited number of access, why is this still being investigated? This should've been wrapped up within a few hours.

As far as the nice moment for NASCAR, it's called pandering! I'd bet money most don't care one way or the other.

If they cut off the hand loop and presented it as a noose left in their garage, damn that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. The article doesn't prove anything unless I missed it somehow proving it was indeed the hand loop and the hand loop was cut off by a team member. It just presents a theory of how a hoax would have been carried out.

I am sure everything is on camera, I highly doubt there are just random people who have access to their garages. If there were a noose, there would have been a pic out there of it. I would guess nascar and the driver wanted the attention and they wanted to be faux victims

I don’t think nascar wants or behind this but companies pander to people who will probably never watch and alienate customers all the time.

Yeah sometimes, maybe when they are faced with a hard decision like the NFL with the kneeling controversy. Whether they chose the kneelers or the anti-kneelers, they were going to alienate some while appearing to pander to others.

Entities like the NFL and NASCAR are not going to go out of their way to do this. Sometimes they are faced with tough decisions. Sometimes they understandably choose the $. Sometimes they understandably choose to take a stand for what's right. In either case, people angry about what's going on are going to call them panderers, sellouts, etc.

Oh sure they would. Their single black driver who drove a BLM car and fought to have the confederate flag banned is now all of a sudden the "victim" of a hate crime, that's a dream come true for the woke people at nascar

For this conspiracy theory to work, Bubba, at least one of Bubba's team members, NASCAR, and the FBI will all have to be in on it.

I'm skeptical to take anything from that outlet however if his pictures are truly accurate showing the same "hand loop" 6 months ago in the same stall and in other stalls then it appears that someone jumped the gun on calling it a noose left for BW. JMO.

You truly are special if you think that’s what happened. Now to your questions. Yes there are cameras and it isn’t open to the public. Why do you, and many others, expect a full reporting of what happened 24 hours after the incident? The truth will come out. But to pretend this is dragging out is disingenuous at best. It very well could be something blown way out of proportion. It could also be something far worse. I have zero belief that Wallace was in anyway behind this. Your conspiracy theory on him is stupid.

My gut tells me it’s not a “conspiracy”. Some low IQ person saw the hand loop, thought it was a noose and cut it down. It made the news as a noose then people realized what it was and is scared to back down looking like an idiot
