I’m pretty sure the council woman that thought pollen on her car was the act of racists is more ridiculous than this theory. If they cut off the hand loop and presented it as a noose left in their garage, damn that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. The article doesn't prove anything unless I missed it somehow proving it was indeed the hand loop and the hand loop was cut off by a team member. It just presents a theory of how a hoax would have been carried out.

In their defense...... we have seen time and time again..... fake or misleading reports about what happened..... I’m hoping this has nothing to do with Bubba but I still wonder about it.Huff is right. If it’s a hoax, we will soon know. However, putting so much energy into trying to disprove it without any evidence to support or deny the claim is the exact type of thing we have an issue with. It’s the insane levels of mental gymnastics used to try and disprove anything racial being done to a black person before any facts come out. It’s happened here. It happened with George Floyd and it happened with Ahmaud Arbery.
Have we seen hoaxes? Sure. They are far less often then compared to actual blatant acts of racism. Focus on the bigger issue. In their defense...... we have seen time and time again..... fake or misleading reports about what happened..... I didn’t say it wasn’t true.... I’m saying there have been an extreme amount of fake racists and people just being stupid.I don't understand the point. How are you comparing the two? She was trying to draw meaning from nothing, and y'all are accusing Bubba/his team of fabricating the whole thing. Her story was not a hoax, she's just crazy, and it does not make this theory about Bubba any more believable.
Its an odd story to this point with little information.I could see that he wasn't part of it. Could be a case of mistaking a garage pull for a noose. In Oakland some guy (black guy) put hand holds in trees and someone complained that they were nooses (they weren't). The mayor immediately declared it a hate crime even after the guy who did it explained it.
I keep going back to only 1 person seeing it. Until his story is released we don't know what he saw, where he saw it and if he documented it in anyway.
Seldom to never! Right now Bubba could get practically any sponsor as long as he isn't complicit in this rope fiasco.Other than his #2 finish at Daytona a few years ago, I am struggling to see how he's maintained a ride. Obviously, there are great dark-skinned drivers who can win races as evidenced by Louis Hamilton. How long do cup series drivers usually get before they have to win or be demoted?
The idea that NASCAR would want this is insane. The idea that NASCAR's motive is to pander to people who are never going to watch NASCAR, while alienating people who do like NASCAR is insane.
At least make up conspiracy theories that make sense.
You haven't watched NASCAR much have you? They began pandering & alienating their traditional Southern fan base over 20 years ago.The idea that NASCAR would want this is insane. When NASCAR started taking races away from traditional tracks like North Wilkesboro, Rockingham and even a race at Darlington so they could run to the at places like Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Fontana (Los Angeles/Hollywood), Chicago and Kansas City. They were doing everything they could to be the hip thing going and getting the young professionals in those city's to spend money at the track.
