Nashville Restaurants

Some of my favorites:

1. Kayne Prime
2. Hatti B's
3. Korea House
4. Thai Phooket
5. Taco Mamacita
6. Wild Wasabi (in Cummins Station)
7. Peg Leg Porker
8. F. Scott's

Ate at Korea House for lunch today. Not bad at all. Got the Bulgogi.

And if you like Taco Mamacita, give the Local Taco a try. It's on Murphy Rd. Across from McCabe Pub.

is that the Korean restaurant on Edmonson Pk right down from Sou Hills?

I've been to Martin's in Nolensville 100,000 times. 99,999 times they got my order right, one time they hosed it up slightly. Despite my protest, the 100,001 time was free.

I like Martin's.

I'm there once a week for smoked wings with either alabammy white sauce or bbq sauce for dipping

Went to the new Sutler this weekend. Sure aint the old one or sure. Food is great. Don't miss the popcorn app which is popped in duck fat, drizzled with bacon grease, sprinkled with spices and bacon pieces, topped with roasted jalapenos. Pork rind nachos are pretty good too.

I was just looking at the menu earlier. I saw a poster in the bathroom at M.L. Rose, heh. It's by the same people who do Sinema.

Party Fowl was pretty good.

Tacquria Del Sol in 12 South was good. A bit out of my way tho, so I'll probably stick with Taco Mamacita or Local Taco.

I love most of the Korean food. I wish they had one in Knoxville. and, I wish they had a good thai restauraunt also. I ate at one in Riyadh SA. and it was great. I ate a shrimp meal that was very, very hot.

is that the Bulgogi and rice, with the lettuce leaves? one of my favorite dishes. and, an appetizer of yaki mandu.

For Italian, Villalba is turning into one of our favorites. Its in the shopping center on the corner of OHB and Edmonson Pk. Great Ital food. As good if not better than Mamma Mias. Best thing is they actually serve wine. If you like red, the Barbera D'asti is fantastic

Anyone like Sylvan Park on Abbott Martin?
It's alright. Usually if I'm in green hills at lunch time on a weekday and I want a veg plate or meat n 2-3 I just go to whole foods. I've never thought nashville was really strong on meat n 3s, probably because they all serve the same canned stuff from Sysco.

FYI if you like Bulgogi try out Hananbi in Maryland Farms. Our neighborhood Italian is Finezza which is pretty good although I'd say Sole Mio is better if you can stand going downtown.

Ever been to Copper Kettle in Green Hills? Great meat and 2/3.

I used to eat at the one on 1st downtown for lunch regularly. Now I sometimes get takeout from the one in GW for dinner. My favorite things there are probably the ambrosia, which reminds me of the cold salads my great grandmothers made, and the coconut fried chicken.

Solid choices. I don't get to go often, but I really enjoy it.

I usually go to the one on Granny White across from Lipscomb. Its great but its a stretch for me to call it a traditional meat-n-3. For me, a "meat-n-3" taste like mammas and grandmas cooking in a restaurant. Copper Kettle's makes me think its a healthy choice meat-n-3. Different than an Arnolds, Dan McGuires of old, or Hap Townes. Don't take what I say wrong - I like CK.
