I love it somewhat unconditionally, but I can't pop on a random game in January anymore and be satisfied. They were on the right track with forcing in more blocks on the block/charge call last season but reversing that decision this year made scoring that much harder. Less scoring = less entertaining basketball. No one's dying to watch 57 possession games.
Agreed, when it is reviewable. They certainly screw up the tipped ball replay. Normally, I don't buy conspiracy theories, but that call made me question such denials.
However, many calls are not reviewable. Same for other sports.
So fouls were 15-13 in Duke's favor with Wisconsin committing several intentional fouls at the end and Ryan's going to complain about the way the game was played? It was physical and they let a lot go on both ends. Doubt he had an issue with Okafor's 3rd foul when he straight up stripped Frank the Tank.
Damn he's sounding like a ***** in his PC. Let it go Bo.
As long as they were consistent throughout the game. I actually didn't see the first half, but there are plenty of games where the refs decide to change how they tightly they call contact from one half to the next.
Funny, cause I thought the refs were just trying to make up for the terrible foul call #3 against Okafor. The refs screwed up big time, but the better team won, so all is well.
