NBA players in saturday's game

CDR will be an outstanding pro player, especially if he can keep developing his outside shot. He will bulk up a bit, and everybody said KD's weakness was upper body strength and he will easily be rookie of the year this year.

CDR has not dominated the college game like Durant did last season.

None of those four points say anything about Redick being a better basketball player than Lofton.

More career points (playing with better players)
More career threes
Better career FT %
More career Assists
Taller
Was a lottery pick (scouts and GMs know something)
HAD A better senior season than his previous three seasons in which he won a couple National Player of the Year awards.

I don't know how else to put it out there. The 3pt%s for the career are very close and Redick has far more 2pt. field goals, meaning he is less one-dimensional of the two extremely one-dimesional players.

I didn't say he was as good as Durant, but he will be a very good pro player. I only made the comparison because of their body types.

Thats what they said about Julius Hodge. We saw how that turned out.

I mean there are two sides to every coin and this is one man's opinion, but he does have what it takes to make it in the league.

I also think D Rose needs to stick around and work on his outside shot before he turns pro. Look at the elite PG's in the league like CP3, Nash, Deron Williams, Kidd, etc. who can beat you off the dribble (as Rose excels at), but drain the three ball regularly.

So I say the guys both lack upper body strength and that's not a valid comparison?

Not exactly. Durant is what, 6-10? I think CDR is about 6-7. Durant was NCAA Player of the Year last season. I don't think CDR is in that discussion-- and he's in a weaker conference. I'm just saying that you can't compare the two at all. Just because they both need to improve on their upper-body strength doesn't mean you can say their results will be similar. Durant is a special player.

I know CDR is a future 1st-round pick, and I think he'll have a decent NBA career.

Basically, I'm just trying to argue with you for little to no reason, haha.

Ok sorry, the old Kidd.

Kidd has never been a consistent shooter, but either way prospects don't stay in school to improve their shooting. They have far more time, seeing it will be their job, to get 500 or so shots up a day as a professional. Players stick around to get stronger, mentally and physically. Rose has that already.

Sorry, you never had a shot at year two.
Sincerely,

Dajuan

Tyler for sure. Ramar has the body and needs at least one more year. Lofton will be on a roster. What about jp after Bruce is done with him?

If Earl Barron can make it in the league, I have no doubt Taggert can as well. This is in addition to the players already named.

Why does everyone think Ramar is so close to being NBA-ready? It looks to me like he has the potential, but he also has a long way to go. I mean, does he even have a jump-shot?

He's far from ready. He shows flashes, but he has got a long ways to go. The good thing is, we'll have him around two more years and by his senior year he could be a special player.

That's what I think. He can make it to the NBA, but he's going to need every year of eligibility to get to that point.

Haha, which makes him 5-of-19 on the season. Yeah, that's 26%.

The majority of those have been when the shotclock was around 3, and highly contested. He's been working hard on his 3 point shot the last couple of weeks. If he can get a mid-range jumper the kid will be so so scary.

clowers,
Don't get me wrong man I'm not saying CDR will ever be on KD's level, I was just makin the upper body comparison. I agree with the first rounder and decent career whenever he decides to come out, and KD will be a Hall of Famer some day.
