Phil's main trick is that he washed the dishes at the inhomes.I like Mack. He comes across as a very honest and personable person. Just like JP he's selling a vision and the kids are buying into it. I can see why. I think he would come across to parents the same way Fulmer did. They trusted Phil with their kids and I believe they trust Mack in the same fashion.
Does landing Colby today help land Ritzie? I think it should. Some of the top guys in NC
Smith is a key piece in the Tarheel state for Tennessee, and he has his eyes set on recruiting two other top targets from the state. He said, "I am definitely going after Jahvaree (Ritzie). I need Jahvaree to come down there and Diego Pounds.
Says it is cool, but has no impact on him. Same for UNCCan anyone summarize the Callahan article on 247:
Top247 DL Ritzie reacts to Tennessee's commitment spree
I have a feeling that the long term goal here is to set in motion something like Oregon did. Have Belotti lay the foundation, hand it off to a capable coach, be the flagship for a Jordan/Jumpman, then hope Clemson eventually turns into the USC we have now and UNC turns into the Oregon that existed under Chip Kelly. I’m hoping like hell that doesn’t happen and I don’t think that it will.Mack is a good man and a heck of a coach. His health is his problem and he likely won’t be there when these recruits that sign finish their careers at UNC
Really? Good for him. Jets have 1 good receiver on the roster and Robby Anderson left. Gase runs a pass first offense, so good opportunity for Josh.
i tend to agree. there's nothing positive about going from the Bengals to the Jets.Is it though? It seems like players are better off not playing for Gase. Look at all his Former dolphin players that had career years once they got away from him. He is a terrible coach and hates nearly every player he comes into contact with.
I'm a Bengals fan and I forgot Malone was on the team half the time. I tend to believe the Bengals will take a big step next year (although a bias point of view). WR is the most crowded position on the team, espically with the addition of Higgins and return of Green, so it's probably a good thing for Malone that he moved on.i tend to agree. there's nothing positive about going from the Bengals to the Jets.
although, it at least looks like things could be on the way up in Cincy.....not so much for NYJ.
unless he just balls out, i'd say he's well on his way to having a "journey man" type career.
which is fine, can get really rich doing so.......
The only redeeming factor in leaving Cincy for the Jets is that the Jets need WRs. They have Breshad Perriman, who was a bust before making a bit of a splash as the WR3 in TB, last year. Can he replicate that success as a main target? Jamison Crowder is their slot guy, and a solid, yet unspectacular player. Denzel Mims, whom they just took in the end round is a guy I am high on. Great hands and size, and a much better athlete than many believed he was. After that, it's wide open.i tend to agree. there's nothing positive about going from the Bengals to the Jets.

i'll be honest, didn't know the WR for the Jets. did know the Bengals were pretty loaded, and when they got higgins in the draft, i didn't exactly think that meant great things for Malone. The only redeeming factor in leaving Cincy for the Jets is that the Jets need WRs. Cincinnati, on the other hand, has AJ Green, Tyler Boyd, Auden Tate, and John Ross, all of which were already ahead of Malone on the depth chart, and then they went and added Tee Higgins.
Malone has a much better shot at playing time in New York, even if it does come at the expense of Gase being a knucklehead and jerk to just about everyone.
Leave it to the Jets to invest a 1st rd pick in a franchise QB and then give him table scraps to throw to. Instead, they paid LeVeon eleventy billion dollars for garbage production and let their own WR1 walk out the door in free agency. For their sake, and Darnold's sake, hopefully Perriman can take that next step and Mims is ready out of the gate, though he still is a bit raw as a receiver. They are likely looking at a last place finish in the AFC East, even behind the Dolphins, who actually greatly improved thru FA and the draft.i'll be honest, didn't know the WR for the Jets. did know the Bengals were pretty loaded, and when they got higgins in the draft, i didn't exactly think that meant great things for Malone.
goood point. by position, the situation does seem better elsewhere......
