Another way to look at it is in year 1 Alabama needed a miracle (and for the refs to ignore a blatant hold on the right tackle) to win against a bad Auburn team.

Freeze went 10-3 at Ole Miss then the next season went 5-7. At Liberty, he followed up a 10-1 season by going 8-5 and 8-4. The new coach at Liberty just went 12-0...sounds like the coaching improved.

Hugh Freeze beat Saban two years in a row at Ole Miss (while committing several NCAA rules violations). Outside of that, he's pretty meh.

But now he can legally pay players, and Auburn is just cow patties and football, so these alums will pay a lot for top recruits to beat Bama

Louisiana menroe would beat nmsu by 28. And that’s Sabans lone FUBR. Freeze is covered up in them.

at least this year New Mexico State has more talent than Louisiana Monroe.

New Mexico State is 4 & 2 against Louisiana Monroe, and won the last game in 2016 59 to 17.

I was just pulling that out of nowhere…..the actual point was That’s Sabans lone hiccup and people throw it out there to justify another coach screwing the pooch when the rest of their career looks nothing like Sabans
Saban had won a national championship before that lone screw up as well. Freeze ……he’s a champion at life.

Not when your call for the marshmallow package with a team at your 30 yard line. A 2 man front with a spy??? One of the dumbest calls ever. I am not saying he isn’t a decent coach but I am certainly not calling him one of the top ones either.

What he did at ole miss as a minor miracle. He will do it at Auburn now that’s it’s legal and way more resources. Paying players or not. He beat saban twice in his prime at ole freaking miss

It's his first year at Auburn and walked into a train wreck that Harsin left and zero talent or QB. . Does that mean Saban isn't good because he lost to LA Monroe his first year at Ala and lost to UAB while at LSU?? And hell, they played Ala better than we did. He may be a POS Human, but a bad HC he isn't. BTW it was from the 31, not the 40 lol
