Saban won at Michigan State
Saban won a title at LSWho.
Freeze has a couple decent years here and there but ultimately has more embarrassing losses than great win and has never come close to sniffing a title.
Freeze is Botch Jones 2.0 and straight garbage.

Deserves credit for his wins over Saban, something Butch couldn't accomplish. Not saying that makes him a great coach, but it does put him above Butch.

And the Auburn collective + coaches + the cabin, probably has = a really good class for a team that went 6-6. We'll see if he can win with that class.

The difference now is just as you said. Everybody is allowed to pay players. That means it is an even playing field. Unlike what he did at Ole Miss, which was cheat to gain an advantage.

I’d disagree with him having an advantage on the field. Two years in a row he beat Nick Saban. I’d argue Saban had better players both years. That’s called being a good (maybe even elite) coach.

You’re ignorant if you think he was the only one cheating.
More realistic is he was cheating to keep up with Saban and the rest.

Never said he was the only one cheating. Everybody was. Just not to his level. Now, everyone should be level. He may end up being great. If he does, I will shut my yap. Until he proves it at Auburn, I am going to run him down.

Saban didn’t really win at Michigan State. He was 34-24-1. His 5th year, he went 9-2, then LSU hired him. His first 4 years, he was 25-22-1.

And how was MSU before and after Saban?
Saban has 1 embarrassing loss. How does that compare to freeze. At MSU and LSWHO how did Saban do against the spread? In other words how did he preform compared to expectations? How does that compare to Freeze?


Freeze is the most overrated coach ever.
I could understand if his record looked like Urban Cryers. But sadly it’s a lot closer to Botch Jones.
