I didn't say it would be exactly the same, but if we go undefeated and make the playoffs, there will be multiple guys enter the draft that we never thought about in the preseason. Absolutely nobody thought Hyatt would be mentioned as a Biletnikoff candidate and Heisman dark horse by mid-season. NFL scouts are paying close attention to our players now. The hope is that they all take the advice our coaches give them when all is said and done. They have shown to have the players' best interest at heart.

You've created some sort of mathematical formula for recruitment success....c=(s/l)m2*(k) where commitment = score divided by losses times mom squared times (k) (constant supply of diet coke).

Tennessee got an official from Hobbs the weekend of Sept. 23 which included the Vols win over Florida, and he returned to Knoxville two Saturdays ago for the victory over Alabama. He said coming out of the weekend that Tennessee set the bar in his recruitment and said on Tuesday that’s still the case.

“The energy that they have, the direction that their program is going,” Hobbs said. “I think it will be a good thing for me.”

Georgia is the other major contender for Hobbs.

“Going down there and hanging out with the coaches, I’ve built some relationships and I’m looking forward to watching a pretty good game that week (against Tennessee).
