I believe this scheme is very OL coach friendly, particularly in the running game. It gets you linebackers split wider, safeties too. You are pretty much guaranteed the numbers.

I'd argue a mediocre OL coach would have success in the run game. Pass blocking requires much more technique and good habits. This is where we have been very poor, particularly on the edges.

EXACTLY!!! Whether other vol fans want to admit it or not, our scheme and formations absolutely help with the run game and make running the ball easier, especially since we started using 12 personnel. OL coaching really comes into play with Pass block and recruiting, both of which our ol has been horrible at

Probably busy with your own life and worries like most of us. Beyond that, it’s football season… not recruiting season.

At the end of the day, there will be 5 star OL talent in the portal if you’re willing to pony up.

Sanders is a VOL until he says that he isn't. Period. So what if he visits the buckeyes ?Guess who is gonna get beat in the Big10 championship probably...and definitely by an SEC team in the playoffs? The buckeyes. Screw them.

Lets wait and see whats really going on before we panic. Tennessee is headed for the playoffs and big things THIS year. Headed for even better in the future. I refuse to panic over any committed recruit visiting another school.

May wanna wait until we hopefully beat Vandy before celebrating. We thought the same thing 2 yrs ago when S.Carol beat our a$$. I hate Ohio St, but they are winning the Big 10 Championship.

I feel pretty good about Ohio State beating Oregon in a rematch. The B1G championship being in Indianapolis is another added benefit, crowd should be 70-75% Ohio State fans.

If we lose Sanders, the only acceptable answer is firing Elarbee the day after the season is over.

His recruiting has been buttcheeks and he’s been successful inheriting talent from the previous admin. We have incredibly thin cupboards for next year.
