Not to speak for anyone, but it is my understanding he doesn't have strong relationships with these guys. I am very curious if @KingVFL has ever asked Heup about this deal and what the off the record conversation is. Heup and Glen are obviously close.Interesting. Is he just a position coach and not a recruiter for his positions?
Now that I am asking I think I've actually read this somewhere before.
Yes they do. He was Ryan days best man at his wedding but is also in line for a MAC head coaching job apparently, so he's out the door is my guessThere’s an excellent point I have not considered. I hope our local media hasn’t created too much drama, because that would be sad..
I can't help but feel that is bad for business at multiple levels. Not to speak for anyone, but it is my understanding he doesn't have strong relationships with these guys. There will be a significant portion of that fanbase calling for Ryan Day’s head if they beat Michigan by less than 14. There are a lot of casual fans in the OSU fanbase, but the diehards are nearly as crazy as we are and twice as entitled. Very Bama-esque, which is probably why Bama and OSU fans hate each other so much despite not having played that many times.Yes they do. That ending said , buckeye fans are completely unhinged about that team l, and one bad play and a vocal 10% are ready to burn it down
Will Howard has a season completion % of like 80% and one pick will result in a server crash from the "put in Devin Brown* gang. Devin brown is absolute garbage l (albeit a super good kid) and Julian sayin in the starter next year I am guessing
well especially when you are going after one of the top players in the nation. always going to be more drama when you are recruiting against Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, Bama than when we were recruiting against NCST, Kentucky, and Nebraska; regardless of money.Welcome to the new world of recruiting. Expect drama like this to occur much more frequently now that these players are getting paid.

They r bonafide crazy as UT fans I am in a unique position to know both fanbases. It’s so weird bc Sanders has peer recruited so many guys here.Even the Ohio state folks are calling this situation crappy- of course they will happily take him but many are saying how much BS it is to be committed for so long- hold a spot then potentially flip on signing week leaving Vols with next to zero time to backfill.
I get it happens every year but still.
Hope it’s all smoke and mirrors- but for such an intentional commitment this is just all bizarre.
