I’m not going to bother anyone on Thanksgiving week before the game that decides whether we go to our first ever 12 team playoff, but at 3 today our coaches still believe he’s coming here. They were notified that he was going to OSU last weekend and they don’t think he’s visiting again. He has had some doubt and wanted to hear them out. Right now they believe he’s too close to too many signees, players and coaches and will commit officially on the 4th. OSU is on his ass 24 hours a day and throwing everything at getting him. Anything can change. Right now, the read is that he’s sticking with his commitment. I don’t know anymore than that and don’t plan on talking to anyone again til Monday.
I haven't seen consistency from high draft QBs ever. I seldom watch the NFL any more. Essentially quit them during the last strike. Years ago now. Almost completely shut it down after the kneeling non-sense. Living in MO its kind of hard since almost everyone is a Chiefs fan.agreed. 2 hardest positions to evaluate from level to level is QB and OL. and drafting a QB....yikes...that's been a crap shoot these days. experience for OL is so big. gotta develop chemistry with the other 4 guys, the QB, RB' etc...OL is tough. it's just not a plug and play position for most.

The point is that have been getting paid for decades, the market increases every year like houses…simple free enterprise nothing new, been going on for centuriesYeah QBs have been getting $8 and $12 million dollars to play football for decades. Get real. Nothing like this had even come close to happening in the past. And look at how great it’s working out.
These are the kind of big boy battles you want to be in. Arguably the best recruiting program in the country now that Saban has ridden into the sunset is desperately trying to get him and we may well hold them at bay. We wouldn’t have had a prayer here 5 or 10 years ago. I mean I wouldn’t shed a tear. No loss of life, of course. But other than the that, burn baby burn. These are the kind of big boy battles you want to be in. I think Sanders is a kid who has no interest in the portal, wants to be sure he’s sure. Understandable. He’s got two of the elite programs in history after him. OSU is great, but UT is better. Hope he feels the same.
Edit: But if he flips, I hope the shoe burns to the ground.
Figuratively speaking.
Go Blue.
