'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee)

I took that as he will sign with Tennessee but have a ceremony next week with his fellow teammates. Not that his choice would be kept a secret. That doesn't mean we can't announce it once the LNI is received like everyone else.

There has been no shortage of excitement around Five-Star Plus+ offensive tackle and Tennessee commit David Sanders in recent weeks. He took a late visit to Ohio State a few weeks ago, then was expected back in Columbus for the Michigan game. But ultimately he didn’t show for that.

The latest buzz has been around him sticking with the Volunteers, but it it is possible he will not sign Wednesday, according to On3’s Steve Wiltfong. Sanders has yet to submit his paperwork, and head coach Josh Heupel’s press conference is set for 1:30 p.m. and if he can discuss Sanders.

Regardless, Sources indicate it’s nothing to worry about regarding his commitment to the Vols. His high school coach, Chad Grier, told Wiltfong that Sanders plans to have his signing ceremony next week with other teammates.

“We have four kids doing it, and it worked out best with everyone’s schedule,” said Grier. “I think everyone is signing today and doing recognition next Tuesday.”
Sorry. Just saw that was already posted.

I don’t buy this. Makes no sense.

Sanders you have no negation leverage here buddy. It’s either come here or go play for a dead man in Ryan Day.

Just sign the paperwork biggin
Don’t speak too soon. We could very well lose to them in a few weeks either way. Would rather this be over before then

The school has had at least a year’s notice as to when signing day is but yet the schedule worked best for the 4 players to have a signing ceremony a week after? This doesn’t pass the sniff test.

Personally, I’m over him and really don’t care where he signs. Will be plenty of older linemen in the portal who will sign for the same or less money. Bought time for CJH to give the “sign or we’re moving on” ultimatum IMO.

There’s literally no drama tho? Read the Wiltfong update. He’ll sign but wait to announce next week with his teammates.

The only drama here is being created by posters.

Something has been going on. He unexpectedly visits Ohio State out of nowhere. Maybe he wants to be a Vol but someone is trying to squeeze more juice from this thing.

Everybody is saying there is nothing to worry about. I'd be worried if insiders/recruiting guys were saying OSU is making a move but no one has said that.
