When the talent fee hits and players are paid as employees I could see some serious union efforts and collective bargaining surrounding best practices for agents behavior regarding recruitment and a sort of salary cap during recruitment similar to how SAG-AFTRA works with entertainment agents
Essentially would require agents to register with the union and would eliminate this kind of back door dealing we are currently seeing. Standardize employment rates into “performer” categories that dictate a minimum and maximum $ number and a set period of time allocated to discuss those numbers before a decision must be sent and finalized to the union
