'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee)

I honestly don’t know what Glen could do to blow the recruitment this late in the game.
I think this gets done still fwiw.

Doesn't mean there aren't issues.
This recruitment makes you appreciate the ho-hum/drama free signing days of the past few years. Nothing will ever compare to the drama and excitement of yesteryear's signing days, but I've come to enjoy the "boring" signing days.
There were never drama free signing days. People just weren't as aware.

That's the thing. Elarbee has never been a flamboyant personality. That was the case when Sanders committed. I realize kids can get cold feet at the last minute, but the position coach's bland persona isn't the reason to bolt at the 11th hour.

I think it may be a part of it, but it's only a part of it. There's obviously more at play.

Many on here believe that Sampson did all this on his own and that our OL has nothing to do with TN Success. Coach E is a really good OL Coach you do not and let me repeat you do not have the Offense success we have had under coach Heup without god OL Play Period. I love Dylan as a player do you realize the the NFL Scouts have him as a free agent. some of you are acting like he is Superman and is the best RB we have ever had at TN. D Sampson is good and will play in NFL but much of his success is the OL as well as Nico. Every Team in the SEC wants to fire there OL Coach because the SEC has NFL DL and LB's that come from all over the place after QB and RB so yes OL's give up sacks and loss yardage plays and Pressure. Keith Jackson most famous statement still stands Touchdowns follow Blocking just like Night follows Day. In CHRIST Alone

Unless they have to dip heavy in the portal for OL, then the kids that have been in the system won't see the field.
They've got a few young guys they're excited about and feel good about as starters for next season. There will be multiple Elarbee guys starting next season.

I went to high school with Glen. He's a good guy, but he doesn't have a big personality. I'm not surprised that he's not known as a great recruiter. Doesn't mean he's not putting in the time, but he's not a sales guy...he's not going to be the best pitch guy. That being said, the issue with Sanders isn't Glen's fault. Making fun of how he looks is just a bad look for you, Trippie. We'll find out how good of a coach he is next season when he's having to play his recruits. Until then, I think some folks need to lay off. He isn't going anywhere right now.
Call the guy and tell him to resign, go back to MTSU or wherever he came from. Gotta recruit

Well I can say im here to appreciate not being aware lol. If this is what "being aware" is, then ill pass. Bring me all the drama free signing days.

Is anyone really surprised? With the way this has gone it was always going to be like this. Sux yes but not surprising.

Do you think Glen E. should be let go?
Yes, I’m of that opinion just like many others on this board. His lines get obliterated vs Georgia. Every single season. They’ll get obliterated again if Tennessee has to face Jim Knowles defense. Hopefully a final nail in the coffin for big Glenn who has to have his hand held to sign recruits

Why is it just this one position we struggle so mightily with, in closing? It defies any logic.

And dont give me that every school deals with it. Dont give me its not an issue. Look at VFL's list reads like a list of indictments.
