'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee)

It’s not your daddy’s college football anymore. Sanders is a baller and the cream will rise to the top. WHEN he gets to Tennessee, he’s going to put in the work to be the best version of himself, and we need this O line to take that next step! We’re doing that with a player like sanders whether you like the way he did or not. GBO
Ok, sad guy in the basement. High five.

Gotta love leeches. They are aplenty these days.
When you're talking this level of money, I suspect the family has advisors and reps. Wouldn't call them "leeches"...although it does kinda fit. Still, the point is that even with my level of education, I don't think I'd feel comfortable operating in that arena much like an attorney considering popping into the OR and picking up a scalpel. Kinda feel sorry for the kid. It's supposed to be about HIM and HIS FUTURE. He's likely getting off to be around his buddies wishing this whole thing would just end so he can finally move forward. Instead, he's facing scrutiny and social media critics for something I doubt he has a lot of control over. Just sad....although it's been going on in one form or another for decades. UT aside, I hope the kid gets to go where he really wants to play and his career works out as he's always dreamed it would. If that's OSU, good for him. Grab your dream. It's gonna be over before you can blink twice.

My only question is… why hasn’t the family said “alright enough” with whoever the shady demanding dude is. I know they want the best for their kid but at some point you have to step up as a dad and say “enough this is what my son wants to do.” Hopefully that was done and we just don’t know about it.

You can be a push over or grow a set.still pays the same.
You people constantly complain about not recruiting “well enough”. Then when you go after elite talent, and actually have to fight for them, people like you throw their hands up and complain about character.

So which is it? You want Dooley commits that don’t look anywhere? Or do you want elite players? You have to battle for the best talent. You all who constantly get sour grapes over these guys are 10x more pathetic than a kid who flips schools. Some of you aren’t cut out for this.

Either the biggest troll ever or we’re good. Also 315 triple for a power clean. Sheesh

315 dead lift? I dont see a clean movement, although he is in position to do so.

Also, at 6'5" 300 is 315 deadlift that great? Has some work to do, before being a starter.

Kid has first round potential. Also, was my understanding he has purposely kept weight off for other sports.

This kind of drama has gone on since the days of General Neyland, but obviously not covered by newspapers or social media. People are going to have strong feelings both ways because of our emotional attachment to our Vols. Your labeling other folks on here “pathetic” says a lot more about you than those you are disparaging.

Doesn't make it right. You defending it says a lot about you.

Perry is ahead of Warren. If Sanders isn’t the RT, it’s probably Perry. In fact, it’s more likely to be LJ3 than Warren, at this point.

And I wouldn’t discount Sham winning the RG spot.
I know you’re big on Sham, but that cat can’t stay healthy.

He’s picked up the Ryan Johnson getting injured after the PAT “habit”.

Might need to portal the OG position again

At his size there are much better exercises than deadlifts. With much lower risk of injury.

Does this mean we should go back to liking Elarbee or keep the pitch forks lit? I can’t keep up.
Eh, somewhere in between. Need to assign someone to help with with his recruiting, someone coaching that position group that can develop personal connections with players and their families.

I'm ok with his coaching, particularly run blocking. Pass blocking leaving a lot to be desired.

Hopefully that gets better.

315 dead lift isn’t impressive I’m 38 and can dead lift 500 easily
