It sounds like the agent is doing his job by trying to get leverage to get his client more money. It happens year round in all professional sports. Pandora’s box was opened with NIL so this is how it’s going to be. Unions do the same thing.

That’s fine. But he’s doing it with the blessing of the family. If you’re going for a bigger bag then that’s América and I love it. I just want us to do away with this absurd notion that the family isn’t involved.

The family has to trust that its attorney is acting in its best interest. If they don't trust that is the case, then they should have a new attorney.

My favorites are the guys on Twitter who put "Alpha Male" in their profiles.

There sure are a lot of Alpha males out there. Which is funny, if you know anything about wolfpacks.

There's one. Just one. And he doesn't advertise it.

Nailed it. Every, i mean every kid save maybe George MacIntyre, is going to sign with an agent and it's not about what school is best or even what coaching is best, because NOW is the time to make money. Not 3 or 4 years down the road. It's now.

Real ones don't have to advertise it, gangsters move in silence, etc. If you have to tell people you are about it, you aren't about it.

Well I know you’re not referring to me since I’ve already stated my full enthusiasm for his right to explore all of the options that capitalism provides. I just asked that we be honest about the families role. Anything else??

Why would George MacIntyre not have an agent or attorney? In today's environment, UT should highly encourage prospects to have legal representation. It aids to prevent misunderstandings and hurt feelings/transfers later.
