This says something about Heup, and it's really good.
For some stupid reason this got me in the feels and I hardly know who the Shulers are.
I'll start my sentences and paragraphs with hieroglyphics, if I choose to.Never start a sentence or paragraph for that matter with and. I don't pay any attention to likes because I care less if others agree with my opinion because it doesn't matter, I'm not the coach.
Just remember who we had at QB in the 85 sugar bowl , you never know who you may have to depend on. The young man beat the mighty Hurricanes . Of course we hope it doesn't come to using the backup. It’s great having a Shuler back in the Tennessee QB room but with all due respect to the kid I hope he never see’s the field at UT unless it’s against a team like Tennessee Tech.
I have to be honest, since we were never recruiting this kid, I never really paid much attention to him. I just got finished watching some of his film and I came away impressed. I'm not throwing nothing out there or anything like that, but I'm saying to get a QB in here of his caliber as a pwo that truly wants to be here and will no doubt give his all for Tennessee everyday is huge!
Shuler* It's truly miraculous how often the 'c' sneaks its way in.If you ever saw his Dad play QB at UT, you would understand. If receivers did not get open, Schuler would take the ball in himself, or give the ball to a back and block for him. I don't mean try. He was determined, and he had all the talent to back it up. I'd love to see Navy on the field.
He should help running the scout team at least.I have to be honest, since we were never recruiting this kid, I never really paid much attention to him. I just got finished watching some of his film and I came away impressed. I'm not throwing nothing out there or anything like that, but I'm saying to get a QB in here of his caliber as a pwo that truly wants to be here and will no doubt give his all for Tennessee everyday is huge!
I couldn't be happier about this. If he is anything like his dad then he will provide fierce competition in the QB room at a minimum. I suspect that he has no plans on just being a scout team QB. We absolutely need competition in the QB room at all times. Let the best man win.
Having said that, he may be thinking about coaching as a long term plan and learning under CJH would be a great career move, IMO.
Very Astute oberservation. There is enough here to work with and see how young man develops. Plus Dad has money to pay for school saving Tn a scholarship. In CHRIST AloneYou can agree to disagree, but based on high school film, he's no less off a talent than Dillon Gabriel at the same stage. Not saying that he'll come in and compete for playing time, but his skill set matches up well with Heupel's offense. He's mobile enough and makes quick and correct reads, then delivers with accuracy.
