'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

The only thing bad about this is as long as the offense is clicking then good but with not much depth on the defense you will wear down in the third quarter and get your azz kicked in the fourth quarter this is not the big 12 where you just try to out score the other team 52-49, Oklahoma would have been a 8 and 4 team to a 9 and 3 team in the SEC.

They scored 48 vs Georgia and 34 vs Alabama. Averaging 41ppg vs the last two SEC Champions = 8-4 or 9-3 in what is a mostly bad SEC outside of those two?

While I could be wrong and probably am, I've just assumed Pruitt has had his man all along. A little surprised that we've just now offered someone the job, then again maybe I'm not.

That is a logical assumption given the typical personnel management and program development of a major college football program.

That’s not, however, how we roll at Tennessee.

Get your google machines ready folks, our hire is coming....eventually.

Gruden isn't doing so well as head coach out in Oakland, so maybe he would consider taking the OC position at...

Good lord dude. I swear you are liking a homing missile towards JG.

JG has trouble throwing on the run it’s been proven in multiple games. That being said most of Shrouts passes in high school were on the run and a lot of the camps showed him throwing accurately on the run. That doesn’t mean that Shrout at some point has had trouble with accuracy he is just good at throwing on the run. (Just like reports have said Shrout has the best arm on the team, which you deny for some reason)

Maurer has video during the elite 11 throwing on the run very accurately. Yes all can change when more defenders get out there and you put on pads but my statement still stands.

Now as far as what I said about the offense. We can agree to disagree. It is being built for whoever the starter will be and with a new OC JG is not automatically the starter.

You brought JG up buddy. And no matter the new OC he is the starter.

Where are all these camp tapes and hs tapes showing Shrout throwing in the run?

No one has said he has the best arm. Many have said MAY but it also MAY be JG who has been touted by many people for his NFL arm strength since HS. They both have big arms. Now accura y and decison making isn't close. Hence Shrout not being a contender to start. Not even really in the race with KC and JG despite arm strength on par with or surpassing JG.

Maurer is accurate. We'l lsee if he can be as accurate vs SEC teams as JG is. He or Bailey will start after JG leaves.

He’s never actually able to produce a “report”. Don’t know who would be keeping these detailed stats in camp and practices. I’m sure they’re being kept, but it’s not a public database. It’s a reasonable assumption that Guarantano has had the best accuracy in shorts. If K would roll with that, he’d be golden. But (as always) he has to ramp it up where “all the experts” say the same thing and take his word for it. 😉
Like usual you don't question all his made up claims.

I'm not going through all the fall camp practice reports. They are posted. Shrout threw interceptions and was inaccurate just like hs. That is why he as 3 or 4 all year despite great arm strength.

Pruitt himself (the head coach) stated that Shrout had the best arm of all the QBs.

If our AD has done this correctly this guy should be announced that he has accepted our offer later today or tomorrow. They have kept everything quiet up to this point I guess, why would they announce an offer unless it was pretty solid that he will accept?

Read story? We didn't announce an offer (who would?). It leaked from OSU side...

These should suffice on his being able to throw on the run and his accuracy. Thanks for playing.

For one not too many great throws on the run in the HIGHLIGHTS you posted.

For two its HIGHLIGHTS. You can' tell how ell he can throw on the run unless you watch full games. He could hit one on the run after missing five each time. You would only see the one hit on the highlights. Therefore you can't tell how eel he can consistently throw on the run.

He was 51% on 7 ypa. He wasn't accurate.

I still believe it's Sark. I also believe we'll probably hear an official announcement probably Tuesday going by the way the university handled past announcements

Lol, okay. Anyways I even put one in there of him in a 7on7. But, whatever you are against everything Shrout. Especially the fact that he has a better arm than JG.

Lol, 50+ yds in the air on the run.... obviously isn’t a good throw 🙄🙄.... leading his receivers and actually hitting them in stride or sneaking a bullet in there with 3 guys around them..... yup not good throws at all.

Edit: Also, just watched JGs high school highlights and you know what stood out to me? He has always stood like a statue in the pocket and doesn’t switch his feet to his other receivers, you know why? Because he doesn’t look at them and still doesn’t in college. It’s always feet straight down field to his primary. (Just thought I’d share that observation.)

What does that have to do with Sarkisian? He was the QB coach the year Bush won the Heisman. Lane was OC and Todd McNair was the RB coach on that team.
He was the OC. Quit turning down Mr. Google’s friend request.

Edit: Decided to accept that request myself. I’m wrong...you’re right. He’s a bum...don’t want.

I’d call it anemic

That was an attempt at a variation of the modern pro style.

But, words can't express the limitations presented by that weakness of O-line.

Not enough strength to run constantly.

Basically our best offense was too heave a jump ball pass up into the air during the 1.5 seconds available to QB.

Everything else was just hit & miss.
