'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Is Pruitt considered an “expert” tho. Asking for a friend...and no it’s not Will. 😉

Nowadays, I dunno who is what when it pertains to k-town.... I’ve never seen all of his expert reports or anything.... but I did go back and watch JGs high school film and he looks like the exact same QB we have to this day.

Experts who he refused to name guaranteed Torrance Gibson was a NFL first round QB. You remember Gibson? The CFL WR? 😉

For the past few months, there have been numerous reports that Yurcich would, in fact, be headed to Tennessee to become the Vols’ next Offensive Coordinator. In fact, we here at Go Pokes have been at the forefront of the Yurcich/Tennessee conversations.
Earlier this week in Memphis, coach Yurcich was asked once again about any Tennessee rumors once again.
"You guys have to do your job, but I have a job to do and it is to get this team ready for Missouri in the Liberty Bowl," Yurcich said when asked about the vacancy at offensive coordinator on the other side of this state at Tennessee, a job he has been rumored to be a prime candidate for. "It's that particular time of year where speculation occurs and it has occurred several years in a row. The only thing is I would hate to take any time away from our purpose which is to send these seniors out as winners this season."

But Go Pokes can now officially report that Mike Yurcich has been offered the Offensive Coordinator position at Tennessee and at a substantial bump in pay than what he’s currently making at Oklahoma State.

But also this
STILLWATER -- As the Cowboys prepare to face Missouri in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, the story that seems to never end just got a new chapter added: Mike Yurcich to Ohio State?
In an article yesterday by Letterman Row, an independent Ohio State based sports site, they reported that multiple sources had indicated that Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich is a name to watch to be hired by soon-to-be head coach Ryan Day.
The article goes on to say that the most logical option would be for current offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson to keep his job and continue to work on his “prolific partnership with Day, but adding another quarterback guru with Ohio ties and recruiting experience like Yurcich would be a strong, savvy move.”

So, Yurcich, a coach who could have been offered and named a month ago is now rumored to be offered exactly 1 day before Oklahoma State plays their bowl game? Yeah, timing sounds horrible.

Ok St didnt say WHEN offered. If you read between the lines of the go vols staff, the offer was made awhile back and talks fell apart. Ok St 247 only confirmed an offer had been made, not something previously confirmed by anyone

And GV247 saying this was the offer from a few weeks ago. Things fell through since. Yurcich "not a viable option" for UT.

The only thing bad about this is as long as the offense is clicking then good but with not much depth on the defense you will wear down in the third quarter and get your azz kicked in the fourth quarter this is not the big 12 where you just try to out score the other team 52-49, Oklahoma would have been a 8 and 4 team to a 9 and 3 team in the SEC.
With Oklahoma's offense and a SEC defense what do you think the Sooners record would be in the SEC?

The article in the other thread is from today.

My apologies...wonder why it feel thru? Did they say?

Nope, nobody knows. It was going well and then *poof*, didnt work out apparently.

Ok St did report it never worked for Auburn because Yurcich demanded he run his own offense, which Malzahn didnt want. Maybe the same thing here.

He "won" the trophy.........you're using semantics.
Yuricich would be ok with me, but what makes you think he would adapt as you say besides your hunch or gut? He had Mason Rudolph for 3 of his yrs. Pretty easy to get good results.

We had the guy who Randolph is behind on the Steelers depth chart for four years.
