'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

I just looked up Ok St U's four year recruiting rankings. Between 35-46 for the past four years. I like our chances with nhim if we get him.

And with those recruiting rankings they put up like 38 points on mo. We scored 17 with much higher recruit ranks.

If true this is such a bad hire. If you watch big 12 football go on and like this post because you know it’s true

I forgot that only experienced SEC coordinators can be successful here. It must be hard turning all of those interested coordinators down.

I've been very positive on CJP, but not sure about this hire if true. We need to be a ball control, eat the clock, type offense, with big play potential, much like Alabama or Georgia.

Going 3 and out as fast as humanly possible is a step back, and not what we need.

I could be wrong, and have been several times, and hope I am again. But if its Yurcich, I'm worried about CJP and his chance for success.
Yeah, Bama took their sweet time in the 1st quarter Saturday night.

To not have full control of the offense and call his own plays, makes no sense...

I agree from what I have read, he would be co oc, and would not call plays. I don't see how he would go to ou for that. I don't think he will. But he may not come here either. Other p5 schools with openings.

Sure and I’ll tell the entire big 12 the same thing. Do you watch ok state? Just asking. I watch just about every game. Texas, Tech, Osu.. not saying we will be dissatisfied but these exact posts and saying he’s gonna produce 500 yds of offense just isn’t correct

Well I believe they did today against mo. and we certainly didn't come close to that with much higher recruiting classes than OSt.

Co OC at Ohio state doesn’t get him a HC gig. We may not get him but I don’t see him going to OSt unless he’s calling plays.
I think he could really help us. He can really coach a QB and understands O beyond the RPO stuff.

Being reported he has told team going to ohio srate
Not surprising. Now the chicken littles can panic again. IF Yurcich was who Tennessee wanted he would've had a contract offer a month ago. This crap leaking out was his agent upping the contract from Ohio State by leveraging the "offer" from Tennessee. I would expect him to get a contract higher than the compensation Helton was getting here.

if it is Yurchich, with his hurry up offense, I dont see how that would fit with what Pruitt does on Defense. Thought Pruitt would want to control speed for D to keep them fresh?

I'm not sure. I'm sure Gundy has a lot of input into the offense. I wouldn't think the same offenses that work in the Big 12 would be successful in the SEC.

I just like more balance...
Justice Hill would have had 3 straight 1000 yard seasons if he hadn't missed time this year. Not to mention, the quick outs and such are just an extension of the running game.

Edited to add this: in the first half of games this year, Alabama had 257 passes to 255 runs, while Oklahoma State had 268 passes to 246 runs. Which, aside from showing that Oklahoma State did not lack balance, also shows that the idea that you have to be run heavy to win in the SEC is pure nonsense.

My guy in Pasadena was unable to get anything even off the record from OSU and his sources tonight. I feel like the only affirmative sounding tweet on Ohio States side was from a reporter at a station in Toledo. Toledo is a very small market that doesn't cover OSU at all... So who knows.
