While yes I do hate bama. If there was one team I absolutely hate outside the sec, it is notredame. Thinking they arentoongood to be in a conferece and not playing a damn sole all year an gets to play in the national championship game???
I will be pulling for another sec national championship and hope notre dame gets stomped by 50 points.
Notre Dame normally plays a very challenging schedule and they did again this season. My level of hate for ND is not close to the level of hate that I feel for Bama.

Makes no sense....at all.

3 undefeated teams, all 3 from different conferences, all want to go to the National Championship. Who goes?

The 2 who played the tougher schedule (aka played in a tougher conference)

Please, dispute this. I'll wait.

What the hell is "SEC loyalty"? Do Yankee fans cheer for the Red Sox out of "AL East loyalty"? No. That's the dumbest thing ever. Alabama are our rivals. We hate them. We don't want anything good to happen to them ever. EVER. I don't understand why some Vol fans don't get that. Were you not around when Tony Robinson was laying injured on the ground and they were cheering?

It is absolutely sickening to see Vol fans posting Roll Tide. Some people do not have a clue.

I know right?

No way our conference dominance helps us, right?

That is just crazy.

Anyways, let your blind hatred of someone else's success skew your logic. Seems to be a reoccurring theme in every aspect of our culture.

If you want anyone to win,but the SEC then stop watching football... SEC baby... by the way I hate Bama...VFL

Why is that? I'm not obligated to cheer for any other team but my Vols. I feel it is quite stupid to cheer for other SEC teams.

I actually followed the link and read the article before posting. Any preference to the outcome of the game is superfluous. If the arty is true it is disgusting!

My hate for Bama is not blind and has little to do with their success. Do you know anything about UT football history? It's really obvious that you do not.

Man- not a single one of you guys read the articles about Notre Dame not only playing (at least) 2 guys who raped or molested women, but who covered it up and attacked the victims at not just the AD level, but from the President on down....

Geez.

One of the victims was so freaked by the attack and the after-attack abuse by the administration, jocks, and fellow students she killed herself.

Personally? I'm a Sabin fan for a day, and hoping those 2+ ND players suffer career ending injuries while the Irish get a metaphoric version of what was literally done to those girls

I was actually going to root for ND since I have a buddy who is a huge fan but after reading the article I think I will pull for Bama.

Does the winner of the BCS get more money than the loser of the game, or do they get the same amount for getting there? That being said if BAMA gets more money for the SEC to split up with a win then ROLL TIDE, we have coaches to buy out and an athletic dept. with a deficit!

I'm going for Bama

Maybe if they beat Jesus' team, they will be cursed to wander the SEC cellar for decades

I maybe could have "pulled" for ga, just to get a little sec nc diversity, but bama getting another crystal ball is nauseating

Bama losing to ND does not make the SEC weaker, its that simple. I can kinda see your logic, but it doesn't apply to this game. Eff Bama forever and ever.

Well, not to disagree with others, but despite the rudeness of some rival fans, I have enjoyed the fact that so many BCS titles have been won by schools of the SEC. It has validated the SEC as the toughest football conference in the nation. This fact is disturbing to those who cheer for wolverines, trojans, buckeyes, seminoles, and fighting irish.

Over the years, I have gone to party in the old city after games. Not suprisingly, fans from our opponents decided to show their faces, much as any of us would do after a road game. I have never had a problem with disrespect in that setting from fans of another SEC schools. But one year, we lost to Notre Dame in Knoxville. My feelings of disgust with their wise azz comments reached an all time high, and will never change. So, as much as it pains me, Roll Tide. Bring the title back to Tuscaloosa, enjoy it while it lasts, and shut up, or we WILL butch slap you harder than planned.
