That SC/ky game I'm questioning. Yeah ky sucks, but SC is going downhill fast. Plus they've only covered the spread once this year.

For Gods sake Windy, do not lay money down on the Cats. I did once this season, spread was UK -18. Combined both teams scored 17. WTF.

settle down now! :p. That's my response to govols thoughts. I wouldn't put money on UK or SC. I put on lsu this past week only because UK sucks, and if Florida could go to ky and win big, why couldn't lsu do the same at home.

I can't decide what Garcia not starting this week does for the spread. I'm too scared to touch it atm.

Early thoughts just from a quick lookover:

UT +1.5 vs. Georgia. Well, heck, why not? Bray's certainly been more impressive than Murray this season and he'll be able to outthrow him with all likelihood, which should lead to an interesting 60-minute shootout.
Southern Miss +2.5 at Navy. I don't really get this one. Yeah, USM lost to Marshall, but they've beaten an ACC school on the road already (granted, it was UVA) and Navy was completely outplayed for 51 minutes (and OT) by Air Force in Annapolis. Plus, Austin Davis is still a great QB.
South Carolina -21 vs. Kentucky. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice...
Ohio State +11 at Nebraska. No, it's not because of anything OSU's offense can('t) do. It's mostly because if you haven't noticed, Taylor Martinez is still really terrible at everything not named running and Nebraska's defense looks nothing like the Blackshirts of '09 and '10. Don't expect OSU to win, but I could see a 5-7 point loss. Also, take the under. TAKE IT.
LSU -13.5 vs. Florida. Florida's defense can contain the LSU offense better than most can. However, a true freshman QB on the road in his first start at Tiger Stadium? Yeah...good luck with that.

I really like OSU at +11, and I'd take LSU -20 against Driskel in Tiger stadium. I'm also inclined to take Oregon -24 against Cal. Oregon almost always covers.

Whew! I thought Cal already blew my parlay on the last play of that game. Risked $7 for $2500.
Oregon -24
Boise State -21
Oklahoma -10
Kentucky +21
Iowa +4
LSU -14
Alabama -29.5
Stanford -29.5
Ohio State +11

My parlay for the weekend: $5 for $217
Boise ST. -19.5
Texas +10.5
Army -2
USCjr -21
LSU -13
Ohio State +11

straights- Southern Miss (+100) @ Navy
Alabama (-29) vs. Vandy

I took
Oregon -24
Boise -21
Oklahoma -10
WVU -19
LSU -14
Mizzou -3

The only one that I was worried about is Mizzou, that's why I parlayed all the others (Ore, Boise, OU, WVU, LSU)

GT-13.5
VT-7
over 42.5 on LSU/UF
Stanford -29.5
over 55 on the Vols game
Bama-29 & over 41.5

i have 3 cards (well had):

1) cal +24
mich -7.5

2) mich -7.5
lsu -13.5
neb -11.5

3) mich -7.5
tenn +1
lsu -13.5
vatech -7.5
ariz -1.5

I definitely woke my neighbors up when that guy dropped the pass.

Going to throw a couple more in there just for fun:

GT -14.5
Bama -29 (this one's going to get ugly quick)

Also, take the over (73.5) on ECU-Houston. Houston might hit 60 on ECU's LOLdefense, while ECU could do the same on Houston.

I took

ASU -3 over Utah
Michigan -7.5 over Northwestern
Florida +13.5 vs. LSU
Auburn +10 @ Arkansas

Thoughts?

ASU should cover against Utah. Nervous about Michigan's game tomorrow. Northwestern is a completely different team with a healthy Dan Persa. Florida stands next to no chance of covering tomorrow unless Jarrett Lee has a horrid game. Hopefully, Arkansas destroys Auburn.

Auburn and Texas should both beat the spread. I'm staying away from Georgia Tech. Both the North Carolina and North Carolina State games were pushes because Tech couldn't finish a game off.

I bet at 5dimes, FWIW.

I feel very dumb for thinking Texas would circle the wagons in their biggest game of the year. To think I was least confident in USCjr at -21...
