Yes, once we get a coach that can count to 11, use timeouts properly and generally have us looking like a football team again we'll go to a bowl game every year. Just like we used to.

Far as I'm concerned DD is more than enough punishment. Looks like we have been on a 2 year bowl ban so far, not ranked in the top 15 in over 3 years, lack of good recruits. Oh and no wins in October. What's worse than this?

As long as nothing else happens between now and the end of the probation, it should be.

The penalties themselves are rather insignificant; it's the addition of 2 more years of making sure you stay squeaky clean that's a potential problem.

Amazing how much wreckage 1 man can leave after a single year of coaching.

Here's what I don't get.

Seastrunk had used up all his official visits. Known fact.

Seastrunk's single mom was poor. Known fact.

Kiffin had to know the money had to come from somewhere. Why isn't he held accountable?

USC also had incidents with Joe McKnight and bastketball player Davon Jefferson receiving perks after their penalties were handed down. If this is the new precedence being set, where are the further penalties for USC?

I think it should follow both,the school for lack of control over the coaches and the coaches so they can't run off to another school before anything happens to them,there may have been more to Kiffin leaving than just the dream school

I'm thinking that a manure truck accidently dumping its load on kiffin and company would be nice, especially if they don't make it out.

In unrealted news, Joker Phillips and John L. Smith have been named as new head coaches for the 2013 Vols.

Exactly, LSU has a coach pay a player and they were ok with them just letting him go. Also what happened to NCAA going after coach not school if school assuming school was doing their job, but coach was doing this behind their back.
