Look for Claeys to get the Minnesota job..Purdue coach survives one more year

Purdue: Darrell Hazell will return for a fourth season, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Pat Forde. Hazell is 6-26 in three seasons, but defeated Nebraska 55-45 last week, which was his first Big Ten home win. Hazell earns $2 million annually as part of a contract that goes through 2018. The Indianapolis Star reports Hazell's buyout would be $6.6 million if he was dismissed before Jan. 1. That decreases to $4.45 million next year and $2.25 million the next.

Minnesota: Jerry Kill said today on Saluki Radio, “I’m very hopeful and positive (Tracy Claeys) will be hired as the next head coach permanently. We’ll see.” Kill also said he's going on a short vacation to Florida soon

I dont pay for that ESPN insider stuff but a teaser article today, suggests Harbaugh might leave UM if the Colts wanted him

This UGA situation is spiraling out of control..which is awesome for us

Georgia: In addition to our report below, USA Today’s Dan Wolken just noted that per “multiple people who have insight into the situation”, Jeremy Pruitt almost certainly will not be back. Wolken asserts that Pruitt’s relationship with Richt and with university administrators “has grown toxic”. Wolken adds, “If Richt stays, it will be with a coaching staff that looks very different as first-year OC Brian Schottenheimer has also been viewed as a problem.” Wolken adds that AD Greg McGarity wanted to fire Richt after last season but was overruled by University President Jere Morehead. Richt was ultimately given an extension.

and then this from the school:
Georgia: Refuting Dan Wolken’s report that he wanted to fire Mark Richt last year, Georgia AD Greg McGarity told Seth Emerson and USA Today, “There isn’t one ounce of truth to that. That is not right.” Emerson adds that he, along with other UGA beat writers, were unaware of any such talks last year, “at no time did any sources indicate that McGarity wanted to make a change.”

I kind of hope Richt goes to Virginia Tech. It would make that game much, much easier than it already will be.

I think Richt at VA Tech would be a good fit. That is great fan base and program. Both the program and Richt may benefit from a re-fresh.

I believe it was Richt's first year at Georgia where they came back and beat us in Neyland in the finals seconds of the game and then the team stomped on the Power T. I will never forget that feeling.

And they were wearing hobnail boots when they were stomping the T. And the team's faces.

South Carolina: ESPN's Joe Schad says Rich Rodriguez is "worth close watching" for the South Carolina job.

Georgia: Mark Richt has yet to sign a new contract drafted more than nine months ago, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. As a result, he has forgone $600,000 of the $800,000 annual raise, but the school says it will honor the terms of the deal retroactively.

What connections does Rich Rod have to USCe?

Curious as I keep seeing his name pop up.

Well I'm sure if he's ever driven through there he's gotten a speeding ticket...but that would be all of us :)

He is from(and played at) WV but did coach at Clemson as OC for 2 years

Arizona sucks this season - why would they want RR at SC ?

Ask UM fans about that

Ask them about what? He's a terrific coach. There was a lot of stuff that went on behind the scenes that he had no control over. There were people within the university, former players, and members of the local press that wanted him to fail from day one because he wasn't a "Michigan Man."
