November of 1984, I went fishing for trout on the Platte river near Douglas, Wyoming. It was below freezing. Ice was forming in the guides of my rod with every retrieve. I wore wool glove liners (no gloves). I caught seven trout, enough to feed everyone at dinner that evening. I brought them back to my brother’s house and set them loose in the bathtub to keep them live and fresh (well water). My sister-in-law came home from work wanting a bath. Her yelp summoned me to retrieve the trout.Get overtime in while it's cold, fish when it's warm!
