New Arizona Immigration Law

Do you even know about the drug wars that are crossing over onto our boarders? Why don't you take a little field trip and see for yourself. There comes a time in life when you have to stand for something that protects you and your family, thats what these people want by passing this law. The right to go out on their own property safely, the right to sleep easy at night, the right to enjoy life without peril. Its easy for you to be offended when you are not there and in that situation. Why not ask someone on the boarder to swap houses with you and you live there for awhile? You may come away with a different point of view.
Trust me, I'm all about protecting my family. My wife is an asian immigrant... She's beyond pissed at this law.

same question???? lmao...

Politics aside, I get a great kick out of both sides arguing about no government involvement on some issues but a lot of government involvement on others....

We're all hypocritical, lol... Lets just go libertarian

Not sure I'm following what you are saying here. Are you saying I am being hypocritical by asking this question?

Maybe not you in particular since I don't know where you stand on this issue... But the people I'm arguing with on here, is what those comments were meant for.

you laughed because it was expected... still doesn't make it right to do in the UNITED STATES

Not really.

We laughed because it was funny.

It cost us all of about 15 mins. And as backward as the Mexicans are when it comes to Civil Rights, we went on our merry way.

well, good for you for not being mad when being pulled over... I, for one, if I haven't done anything wrong don't want to be bothered. The law backs me up on that and does in 49 other states.

Stick to your subject, stay focused! The way that sounds and from your last post to me, I feel you want the citizens of Arizona to move and better their situaton.!

Just proving your hyprocisy is all....

And I understand the problem of people in Arizona... It's in EVERY state in the United States (murder, drugs isn't confined to that state due to illegal immigration. it's everywhere, committed by CITIZENS) still doesn't make it ok to profile a LEGAL citizen since somebody that looks like you did something wrong, which is where i think ya'll are all missing my point.

So essentially ya'll are saying it's OK to profile a person if another person of the same race screws up??? Welcome back 1950s!!

so lets say this works, and ALL illegal immigrants are gone from Arizona... I guess all drugs and murdering would stop??? Nope, it would still be a HUGE problem.

I don't mind if it helps take drugs and murder off the street, by those who are not legally here.

I used to raise tobacco, and the fellers I farmed with hired 4 legal aliens to help with the harvest. The more I got to know them, the more I realized that they despised their fellow countrymen that come across the border illegally. It was harder for them to make a life here as a legal resident, than it was for the illegals.

Will you please read this:
Legal Definition of Probable Cause

It doesn't how you spin the murders that happen in the US, The murders committed by illegal aliens would not take place if the borders where closed.

What do you think about the 6 policemen killed today by illegal aliens in a Arizona border town because the illegals were mad about them closing the borders. And you think there is not a problem!!!!

A reasonable belief that a person has committed a crime... per your website...

so essentially you're saying, if you're hispanic in Arizona, that's probable cause for a cop to see if you're here legally or not??? If that's what you're saying, we're never, ever going to agree

we allow for LEGAL immigration in this country... that doesn't give ANYBODY a right to question their citizenship when they have done nothing wrong

Yes we do. Arizona is taking steps to get out theirs.
And in the process they will save Obama some money on his health care bill. Might have a fighting chance now.

I just want to know, specifically, why LG doesn't answer any of Tenacious D's posts. Clearly, LG is getting ridden like a coin operated horse outside of K-Mart. And the worst part is, there is absolutely nothing he can do stop it.

Because Loquacious D cant be stopped...

Ariz. governor signs immigration enforcement bill - Yahoo! News

So it's now legal to profile and further have the cops question hispanic-looking people in Arizona for no unprovoked reason other than the cop thinks the person is an illegal alien.

where's probable cause??? And skin color aint enough for any cop to ask any citizen a question about their legality

Boo Hoo!! :cray::cray::cray::cray:

Here is another move in Arizona, what do you think of that??

Bill would close a major loophole for smugglers

Basically the state of Arizona is recovering from the sorry way it was run by the Napolitano administration.
