Way too harsh.

This year and next we'll be represented well in the draft. I agree we need to do alittle better on the recruiting front but that has not been our biggest problem. Coaching would be 1 thru 5.

Make that 1 thru 8.

Not true. The alpha players dont give a damn how many 5*'s Alabama signed the year before. The best players are not scared of competition. Its about winning with swagger on national tv. WIN and they will come...

3* are good players you all are crazy... and have you seen the film on this kid he is fast and got great hands plus he blocks well thats always good

also im not saying 3 star recruits are all bad, but we are stealing guys that are from vandy and cincy. there offer lists are far from great. like i said diamonds in the rough maybe, but you can't take 15 of these types of players. this is not the big east.

Again, we don't have 15 three stars.

Of the 3* players we have, seven of them are withing 2 points of 4*s.

CBJ has been on the job for, what? Less than a month? Recruiting to a team that has missed two consecutive bowl seasons?

those players did not commit to jones but to UT. they were dooley recruits. jones has 0

i'm saying by signing day we will have atleast 15 3 star players. it seems all he can reel in.

Thanks for proving my point. When you are not winning on the field, the only 5*'s you usually get are ones other schools have backed off of for mental issues. Give me a 3* with heart, can "Just say no",and when he get's on the football field, has a nasty streak. Tired of the crack high of signing castoff 5* pot heads. Start winning some games and we can start signing the future NFL 5*'s and not put pressure on our coaches to sign future incarcerated 5*'s. You recruiting people are like crack addicts, pretty soon you will be s****** d*** for your 5* fix.

We recruited great in some areas....were found lacking in others.

You dont average 14th in recruiting with scraps.

Well why don't we have a top 5 recruiting class then if all these 3* are as good as any other teams recruits? A few of them might end up being really good productive players but you can't field a whole team of them and expect to ever get to the top again.

Every player that signs with UT on signing day, despite who initially recruited them, is committing to play for our current staff. This staff's very first recruiting job was rerecruiting UT's current commits.

Perhaps, with less than a month on the job, with a roster to fill, and knowing the type of talent that can be successful in his system, CBJ is recruiting the athletes he feels have a good chance of being a success in his system?

Maybe?

Or, he's just going through a list of three stars and making blind telemarketing calls...

Come to Tennessee son, we have not won anything in 6 years but our fans still act like their s*** dont stink and instead of "VFL" you will be "not good enough" before you play a down. And we wonder why our recruiting sucks?
